In shower hot water will come for may be few moments and then have to take cold shower. Internet was very ******. we had to go to Starbucks in town to use internet for Kids home work which was very inconvenient. We stayed 4 nights but no one picked up the garbage and every morning we had to clean the mess on the porch. last day the toilet was broke and water leaked in basement from ceiling. The only issues were: when we arrived, the trash cans on the porch had clearly been knocked over several times by a raccoon - there were ants all over the porch and old egg shells. It was clear by the condition around the trash cans that they are knocked over all the time...the food parts on the porch should have been cleaned up and the trash cans secured better. We saw the raccoon one night...he walked up the porch stairs and went right for the cans. No batteries in the TV remotes either. The view was extraordinary and the raccoons were quite brave. They would get in our garbage cans while we were sitting in the kitchen and they came out in the daylight. Good trip, not size cabin, but hot tub left kids with burns/red rashes b/c of chemicals and this was NOT fixed!! A guest from hAMILTON, OH recommends this property. We had to go buy a mattress bed to have enough sleeping spaces. Also, there were no "animal-proof" trash containers for this cabin. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2010 This trip idea came from my son and his second wife who went to the Smokies for their honeymoon. they suggested that my husband and I might enjoy the trip, especially if we rented a cabin. We rented the cozy moments cabin for four nights and had a great time. 2010 was our year for a family vacation. which had in the past always been a trip to the beach either Myrtle Beach or Nags Head. As the family ages, i am one of nine children, we have found that we have less tolerance for the sun. So, we decided to break with tradition and go to the smokies. Country Living was a great fit for our group. My brother and his wife took the lower level where they had a brief encounter with a small snake. Which leads me to our recommendations fo make the place better. We felt like the yard could have been cut a little more defined as a yard to help keep down the lure for critters. Ths same is true for rhe carpenter bees. I thinkthey were carpenter bees and my other family thought they were bumble bees. I think it is worth investigating before too much damage is done to the wood on the deck. That is the storyof our trip to the Smokies. We needed m ore rockers on the por and maybe some advance warning about the strange sounds the airconditioner make at night. The kitchen is enormous, and easily accommodated the 12 people we had. The 3 level modern cabin made it easy to escape and have a more private setting and conversations. It was a little dirty, by that I mean dusty. That was easily overlooked in comparison to the great atmosphere, the wrap around deck, hot tub, and surrounding property. Our whole group was very impressed, and the location was excellent! You are just a few short minutes from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg. We also used this time to get some trout fishing in, which I might add was a very successful trip! I recommend this cabin anytime of year. We happen to be there for New Years. Our group will definitely reserve this cabin again next year for our yearly get together, and possibly for some summertime fun! Overall, I would have to give this place 4 1/2 stars!! Stayed for 5 days in December, 2008 We were discouraged to find that the cabin wasn't stocked with the basic necessities for a large family. The cabin advertised as large and sleeps up to 15 people. The kitchen supplies were limited (cooking utensils) in comparison to much smaller cabin units that we have stayed. We had to purchase toilet paper immediately because there was a limited supply for each bathroom. The towels were also limited for the number of bathrooms and we had to wash towels every morning and night so that our group had clean towels. We were also surprised that there wasn't televisions in each bedroom and the satelite service was so basic. The cabin rental info describes the game room as having a foosball table...we didn't see one. Parking was also limited. We had 3 vehicles and the parking was very tight. The website describes parking for 4 vehicles; I don't where the other vehicle could have parked. We are also used to a large grill usually located ont the porch of a cabin...this was a small park grill away from the cabin. It was not what we are accustomed to as we have stayed in Pigeon Forge for 4 years now. We also like the "homey" feeling that we have felt in other cabins; this cabin lacked that appeal. It was a time we'll never forget. This was the first time our Women's Ministry have ever spent time away from home. There were ladies from many states that stayed in Peigon Forge that week-end, all whom stayed in a motel. We were the only ones who rented a cabin,and I was glad we did. We want to make it an annualevent to stay at your cabins. We were able to bond with each other, and experience time with God like no other. Best mountain vacation ever !! Jesus L. from Miami, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2007 My family stayed at Country Living in Sevierville, Tn, during Thanksgiving 2007. When we arrived to the house, we were pleasantly surprised that it was several hundred yards away from Dollywood, but felt very far away and private to enjoy the holidays with the family. The house has three levels, which easily accomodates a family of 12. Being so close to the city, we could enjoy the shopping malls, restaurants and wonderful shows that Sevierville offers. And just 15 minutes away was Gatlinberg and the trails of the Smokey Mountains. The Grotto Falls trail was less than 30 minutes away. My family took away from that vacation so many beautiful memories, and we all fell in love with the people and traditions of that magnificent area of Tennessee. Less than impressed! Lisa R. from Lebanon, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2007 We have stayed in Gaztlinburg several times and have never come across such a filty cabin. When we entered the cabin and went upstairs there was dirt that had been swept in a pile. The kitchen was nasty. We tried getting our money back but wasn't able to do so. I went and purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned the cabin ourselves. Needless to say, we would NEVER rent with you again.
