The only issue that we had is the shower head was not working in the downstairs bathroom so you would have to take a bath instead. Also, the gate to Brother Cove was not working properly. We rented three cabins (also rented Timber Wolf and Hook's Haven) for this vacation and all were advertised with wifi access. However, during our stay, no wifi access was available and, even after speaking with Brother's Cove personnel, this situation was not resolved. Further, we believe that including manuals of operation for such items as the gas fireplaces and hot tubs would have added to the enjoyment of our stay. Finally, although not a problem during our stay, we noticed that poison ivy was allowed grow along the walkways/porches of the cabins. We imagine this could be an issue for other vacationers. Despite these items we had a great experience and would recommend renting from this rental agency (American Mountain Rentals). It was calm & relaxing listening to the sound of the creek in the morning or when we where relaxing in the rocking chairs at night. We called the office about not having internet connection and they showed up within 30 minutes.There were 4 things that did bother us. 1st the microwave handle was broken (a little hard to open the door when there isn't a handle, 2nd the shower curtains where moldy at the bottom of them (yuck), 3rd the swing was taken down from the back (my daughter was disappointed) 4th it would have been nice if the backyard looked like the picture on the website. The weeds/grass had taken over 1/2 the yard. Over all everything else was perfect. My daughter who is 6 ½ yrs was sad when we had to leave. When we arrived the cabin was more than we expected, it was very nice, had everything, and was very relaxing as you could hear the creek when you were outside. I loved the fact that the cabins at this resort weren't too close to each other, and the location made it feel like we really are in the mountains. Very pleased. It was very clean and had every thing you needed. We loved the fireplace and fire pit on the creek. I found the amusements very expensive and if you have children you are priced out. I have six kids, and Creekside Oasis is one of the best cabins for my family, with the level yardspace and creek to explore. Living here I can understand the economic pinch families feel when trying to entertain the kids. Next time you are in stop by the office and we can advise you on some wonderful sites to see around here that are easier on your wallet. One of them is Rainforest Adventure in Sevierville, lots of really great exhibits for a very reasonable price. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
