Not again Don B. from Clinton, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 Cabin needs some cleaning. Cobwebs in several areas and spiderweb in downstairs tub. Mattress in master bedroom NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Very uncomfortable and had to move to upper bedroom. Needs new couch cushions, they smell. Need blinds over the kitchen sink. It is very quaint--cute decorations throughout. Our children enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. It had a well-furnished kitchen and plenty of towels (usually a problem with for a large family). The drive from Pigeon Forge to the cabin is beautiful. The place was very clean and my kids loved the pool. We had one problem with the water shutting off, but the maintenace man came and fixed it quickly and easily. My only suggestion would be more seating in the TV area - my family of four really could not comfortably sit down for a movie, for example. Brothers Cove Cabin Resorts Katie M. from Jackson, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 My husband, 2 sons ages 11 and 14, a friend of the family also 14 and myself recently came back from a 5 night/ 6 day stay in the Bear Hug II cabin in Brothers Cove. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation. Brothers Cove was great-far enough off the main strip for us to enjoy the winding mountain roads and views but close enough to go to the main strip every day to eat lunch/dinner or to participate in the tourist items like go cart racing and the outlet shops. Bear Hug II was a great cabin very well kept, well furnished, the beds were comfortable. The boys loved their loft room. Our cabin was settled down into the woods but from the back porches we did have a view of the mountains. It was very peaceful. From our cabin we only had 2 nearby cabins and they were a good distance away-we could only see bits and pieces of these other cabins through the woods that separated us. I would definately recommend Brothers Cove and Bear Hug II cabin. I believe Bear Hug II was for sale and if we didn't live 10hrs away I would have pursued finding out further information on purchasing it. stay was great. but cabin needed some things addressed. A guest from Knoxville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 this was our 5th or 6th stay at brothers cove. I would of thought that the water would of been clear now but it was still brown but overall getting away with my family was great. There were things we discovered while we were there that should be addressed. hot tub had a mildew odor, no local channels ( game time would have been bad if game had been on abc). there was a board in the floor down stairs next to bed that was very loose, railing on stairs going into cabin was rotting, dvd up stairs did not work, could not run fan down stairs without having the light on, and I would of liked some blinds on windows so that I would of had the option to open and close them. staff was great. the man that came by to get the trash was very nice and the lady in the office was great also. she took the time to help my son practice his british accent for a play he is trying out for soon. we will be back but probably not bear hug 2. It would have been nice to walk into a nice cool cabin instead of an oven. Because the AC hadn't been on all day, it took hours to cool the place down to be able to get a good nights sleep. Also disappointing checking into a cabin with a known hot tub issue and that it would be that way through my entire stay. At best it was the temp of a warm bath. Its a hot tub, not a warm tub. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and plan to return. We'll just know to make a few requests prior to our arrival. Cabin not worth the money. A guest from Clarkson, KY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2010 Are stay at the Bear Hugs II cabin was not the most enjoyable we have had in Pigeon Forge. The cabin has way too many steps, and that spiral staircase with its thin branches used for hand rails in my opinion is dangerous. The hot tob was so overfilled that when you got in it a lot of water spilled out and thus causing the water level to be too low that the hot tub continued to run all night long, we could not get it to turn off. It sure made a lot of noise and thus a sleepless night. We did call and report it the next morning and maintenance fixed it by putting more water in it. The cabin also had a lot of cob webs in it especially on and around the fireplace. I know it is peak season time but, I cannot see paying the money we paid for to stay at this cabin.
