The only down side I can say is the parking is pretty tight with multiple cars, but in the mountains it is what it is. We are already talking about coming back next year. Thank you for a great stay. Nice Stay! Denise L. from Valrico, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 We are a family of four that stayed for 7 days. Overall, the stay was enjoyable. Very clean at check in and kitchen had everything you might possibly need. Water pressure in kitchen is very low - hard to rinse dishes. One contact to management for an issue with the TV?s. One not turning off, one with big black line. Came that same day and fixed the lower level TV with line. Our 4 cylinder vehicle traveled fine up and down the mountain using the manual setting on our dual transmission. The driveway for 3 cabins in a row is shared and tight. Did not deal with snow or ice. Cabin not very functional for a long term stay. There were two spiral staircases ? one going to the top level and one going to the bottom level which are VERY spiral. Washer and dryer are on top floor, so that required bringing clothes from the bottom floor all the way up to the top, and carrying them down again. All 3 bathrooms only had sinks in them. NO counter space . We had 3 girls who do hair and make up daily and no where to put anything. Lighting poor in all bathrooms except upstairs. Dual fireplaces into the living/bedroom areas were wonderful! Air Hockey table was in working condition, but the air was not strong. Pool table was completely functional. Hot tub rocked!! Saw Pete the raccoon on Day #1, screamed, and never saw him again! There was a Christmas tree and some garland for decorating. The last thing is the traffic/travel time between Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Not sure if it is year round, or holiday time, but it was awful. If you are going anywhere, give yourself 30 minutes longer than you need. We almost missed reservations because of it. Overall, we were very pleased with our vacation, and I am still giving this cabin/vacation 4 stars as the cabin was very nice ? it just wasn?t as practical for our family for a long term stay as we would have liked. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2012 Our third trip to Pigeon Forge. we decided to stay at a cabin instead of the usual hotel. Our first time ever staying in a cabin and was very pleased with our experience. Close to town but yet secluded enough to enjoy a nice mountain view. View would be absolutely georgous in October. Everything was just as discribed with no unpleasant surprises. Parking was tight but manageable. Yes the racoon made his nightly visit at 6:30 sharp each night. lol. He was such a regular that my daughter named him Ted. Just be carefull feading him as he bit our neighbor. The only negative that I might mention is that there were some "dead" bugs and a few spider webs in the windows. The Jacuzzi needs to be looked at too. Other than that we had a wonderful time and will definitely consider this cabin in the future. One evening, a Raccoon show up at the door, the door was made with glass so we can see him coming and he was sitting down eyes focused, string at us. Cabin is nice but needs to upgrade furniture, beds, and televisions. Our frig was not working when we got there and they ended up fixing it the next day around 3pm. Glad I didn't have any food. Air hockey table was broke. Lighting is bad. Alot of light bulbs were blown out. Pain to get to. If you want to just go to enjoy the view then this is right for you. Easy fixes all around. The parking for our vehicle was not very good. The grill was located exactly by your parking. The cabins were to close the picture they place on the website it does not let you know that you are right by 2 other cabins. The hot tub did not have a thermostat and smelled quite a bit. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The issue we had was the hot tub wasn't working when we arrived and didn't get fixed until about 20 minutes before we checked out. A cabin with a hot tub is something we specifically wanted when booking so we were quite disappointed about it not working. We were offered a free night stay, but could not work that into our schedule, then offered a $50 refund. Didn't think that was enough considering the hot tub was one of the main reasons for us booking this cabin. It doesn't make sense that the Jacuzzi tub was up in the game room! I think it needs to be replaced. It didn't have any temperature gauges to know how hot it was. It is not that private, in the sense that on the left the neighbor is very close, is where the hot tube is located. The other neighbor is a little farther. I loved the view, and the fact that was farther from the main road. They had all the appliances you need it. I did not like the sheets for the king bed, they did not fit well on the bed. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 The location of this cabin is right in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with just 9 miles between each one. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. The only thing that I had a problem with was the age limit. No where on the website nor when you make reservations does it say you have to be 21. Once we drove hours, they almost did not let us stay because none of us were 21. Thank goodness the lady who confirmed my reservation on the phone was there, because she even remembered that she didn't ask me my age. Other than that I would return again. Parking was a bit tricky. The staff were very friendly and professional. However, the hot tub was so scalding hot when we got there that we couldn't use it the first night. The spiral staircase leading from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor was quite scary. When someone would walk on it the whole thing would bow down a great deal on the outside (even when my 45 pound 3 year old walked on it.) So, we didn't spend too much time up there, in the game room. The jacuzzi would have taken at least 3 hours to we didn't use it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but will go with someone else next time. New furniture and cabin was clean. Couldn't sit outside though due to the number of wasps (very large wasps).Kids liked the pool table upstairs and air hockey but we ripped three shirts due to the edge of the air hockey table. The loft has a railing all the way around but has a space at the bottom where a ball or puck could roll out and land on tables/people below. I am sure with only adults not a concern. We also were disappointed that there were little to no pots/pans to even cook a meal with. Not one pot that could boil water for pasta. Every dish we tried to use was dirty. Remote control did not work in the LL bedroom. There were no hangers and not a drawer to put anything. No place in the bathrooms to put anything either. The pool was 5 minutes away but not maintained at all (broken chairs etc.). With young kids, this is not a good location or place to stay.We did end up leaving after two nights and staying at the Inn at Christmas Place. The hot tub was way too hot and we had no internet for day. When I called about no power in some of the outlets and the remotes for the TV's they sent a guy but all he could do was change batteries. When I called about the internet the manager told me I could call him at 9am and he would look up what I wanted from the office and tell me over the phone. I drove to the office and demanded a $50.00 a day refunded. It would take a lot to get me to stay at or recommend this company to anyone. Smells and run down! A guest from Lucedale, MS does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2009 We had originally booked An Eagles Landing because of NO CARPET. We were also excited about the view and sauna. Upon arrival we were told we could not stay there because of water problems. We were then given the Divine View cabin. The two bedrooms in the carpeted rooms smelled really bad. All three bedrooms were on different floors (bad with small children). They are directly above and below each other, so the person below heard the floors creaking every time someone in the floor above walked. Went to take a shower in the bottom bathroom, and the water would not drain out. GROSE!!! Bed on main floor was broken and leaned. NO VIEW! Not worth the drive up the winding mountain to have no view! Two person jacuzzi would take 30 minutes to fill up. We gave up after 10. Hockey table is broke. Divine not so divine Michelle K. from Palm Harbor, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2009 The cabin itself was lovely, but the ammenities were not. The hottub outside didn't work. A repair call needed to be put in and then still didn't work great after that. The jacuzzi tub inside didn't work and never got fixed. Not one remote control in the whole cabin had batteries in it, parking was an issue and the outdoor grill was disgustingly dirty and couldn't be used regardless because cars had to be parked immediately in front of the grill making it unsafe to use. The toilets also would run continously. The manager was contacted about these issues and did send maintenance but did nothing to make up for the inconvenience not even an apology. I've stayed at many different cabins in the smokey mtns., and I feel this was the worst managed one. You pay a lot of money to stay there, things like the jacuzzi tubs, remotes, grills, etc. should be in working condition when you arrive, not a day before you have to leave. Reservation Help Robin B. from Irvine, KY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2009 I had no real problem with the cabin itself. However, when I placed the reservation I asked that it not be too far off the parkway and I was assured that it wasn't. That was not true. I also asked that we have a king size bed on the main floor for my parents because my mother just had knee surgery. I was told that it was, only to find out that it wasn't. I think the reservation desk needs extensive training on how to meet the requirements of your guests. I cannot say that I would use this company again just because of these things. When someone spends that kind of money they need to be satisfied and given what they ask for. I like to be close to town, and the cabin allowed for this. There were lots of dead bugs in the cabin,especially in the kitchen area. This did not make it very appetizing to eat or cook in the cabin. The hot tub was also very dirty, so no one got to enjoy it. It would be a great place to stay if these items were taken care of. There seems to be a lack of upkeep, cleanliness.
