Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 The pictures of this cabin do not do it justice, this a gorgeous small cabin on the inside. It was super clean on arrival. We loved the screened in deck and enjoyed the extra privacy in the hot tub. Its alot closer to Pigeon Forge than we would have like, only 3-4 minutes from the parkway, but that's not a bad thing and the only complainant we have is that the jets on the hot tub barely work. Disapointed!!!! A guest from Callaway, VA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 We were very close to Pigeon Forge and all attractions.When we arrived we found dirty water in the sink dirty dishes on the counter. Not that big a deal we then got unpacked and went to set on the couch and the couch leaned forward dumping you onto the floor. I looked to see what the problem was and the front part of the couch was pulled off and not attached. This would not have been a big deal but it was the only piece of furniture to sit on. We ended up sitting in the floor. The 1 bedroom was very cozy and had a separate bathroom but there was no way to close the bathroom door. After settling in the first night we decided to uncover the hot tub and get in. We found that the "high" setting for the tub hardly even circulated the water at all. We tried to adjust the jets and when you turned them they fell out of the tub. I then started looking and I was not the first to have this problem obviously because there were 4 jets sitting in the window sill on the cover porch. I called the Rental company and they did come and tried to fix the problems. The tub could not be fixed but they did make it to where we could at least sit on the couch. I was just very disappointed with the cabin it was not at all what the description lead us to believe but the rental company was very professional and prompt. Let down by the Rental Company Paul H. from Belfast, Belfast does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 My daughter went to bed, on what i presumed was clean bedding, but as i checked on her later on the smell in the room of sick which was dried into the bedding and had not been cleaned from the previous occupant was over whelming. The Hot Tub did not work, wine glasses were left outside and batteries in the remotes gone rendering the cable useless. Not a good start, the three of my family had to sleep on the small sofa. When i complained in person the following day, office staff seemed annoyed i was bothering them, not sympathetic and all the 6hrs later that day i was given an alternate cabin, no attempt was made to refund or even discount the monies for the first nights awful stay, or the health hazard my 12yr old had had her face on and breathing in for nearly two hrs. Just poor, very poor. i would highly recommend an alternate cabin rental company, there are just to many in the area not to be treated like this in after care of their mistakes. nice vacation with horrible ending due to the staff at american m German G. from Chicago, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 when we initially booked our cabin and i asked the staff to please put us in a cabin as low to the ground as possible, when we got there they wanted to send us to the top of the mountain! we asked for a change and they seemed to be bothered by this request. We trusted they're decision since we were a returning customer and live in Chicago but clearly they didnt care to listen. When we left, my wife realized she had dropped her gold ring under an armoir adjacent to the bed. Since we were already on the road she called the office and was told that housekeeping wasnt answering their phone. A couple days later they called and told us they had found the ring and even took our credit card number again to pay for the shipping. We waited over a week only to get a call from a "Jeff" that proceeded to tell my wife that now they misplaced it inthe office and asked for a description of it! Clearly they had it at one point then decided to steal it instead of returning it to us. We even paid for the insurance while at our stay there in hopes that if any mishap should occur we would be reinbursed. We are currently waiting to hear from anyone telling us that the ring which cost me $500 at the time when gold was cheaper, 4 years ago. the sentimental value is priceless and the experience to know that the staff lied to us and then stole from us is unforgettable and dissapointing to say the least. We lived the hot tub and the fire place. Bed was comfortable only thing is it needs better curtains in the bedroom . The cabin looks just like the pics on web site . All u need to bring is your clothes n food. We was amazed about the kitchen it had everything u need to cook dinner n eat fisher washer was a plus. We love how it wasn't gar from the smokey mountains which we went 2 days out of 3 .. Over all we loved this cabin it's modern in the woods and not to far from the smokies . But what makes the stay not so pleasant is once you see inside the cabin you realize there some things that need to be address. The carpet is worn out, the rug in the living room needs to be thrown away, the leather couche looks outdated along with the wallpaper in the bedroom and the bathroom. There was cobwebs all over the inside of the cabin and the fridge had black stuff on the top of it. Looks like they did not clean well before we got there and a huge clock sitting on the mantle did not even work. They could'nt replacing a couple of simple AA batteris. One funny thing is that the clean up crew leaves an envelope on the kitchen table saying that they are the clean up crew and that they appreciate tips. Well looks like they need to do a better job to receive some tips if you ask me instead of coming to the cabin just watching tv and not doing anything other than simply vacuuming and taking out the trash. The only thing that I did really like about this cabin was the real fireplace and they provided the wood. Oh and they have a security alarm that was nice also. Supposed to stay at evening view, it was to dirty to stay was moved to another cabin that was much smaller, always misbehavin A guest from Tazewell, VA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2011 I have been turned against renting a cabin because of my experience on this trip. My husband and I had planned this trip for months, and were very disappointed when we got to the cabin (Evening View), it was so dirty and had an odor in the bedroom and old animal feces on the deck. It had a beautiful view, but the windows were so dirty you could not see out them. I tried to make myself stay, but when I tried to go to bed and the bedroom had an odor I just could not stay in this cabin. I was very upset and called the office to complain about the cabin being too dirty, and they moved us to another cabin (Always Misbehavin), which was much smaller and had bugs and the porch was to dirty to sit on, and the hot tub smelled so musty I was afraid to get in it. The Evening View cabin could have been nice, but it needs alot of updating and major cleaning. The couches were both too dirty to sit on. There was alot of dust every where you looked. This is the first trip me and my husband had been on in fourteen years, and this is very disappointing! We were not reimbursed for anything. I hope no one else has there special trip ruined because of these cabins not being cleaned like they should be. I would not recommend these cabins to anyone! Don't believe what the pictures look like online, because its not at all what it looks like and you will be disappointed. Its a shame to pay good money for such a dirty cabin!!!!
