Great Tangletown/Wallingford Stay A guest from Fairfax, Virginia recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 Spotless house in one of Seattle's great neighborhoods. Walking distance to what may be Seattle's best ice cream, donuts, coffee, and playgrounds, good sushi, and by car only 10 min from downtown. The one drawback is a single small bathroom with a claw foot tub: great for baths, but with a low ceiling and the height of the tub, a challenge for showers. However, worth putting up with considering everything else is first rate! |

Great Tangle Town Stay A guest from arlington, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2013 Place was very nice. Loved everything. Only things were there were no curtains upstairs in the loft with the futon so that was a bit difficult and the floor wasn't cleaned when we arrived....I ended up vacuuming it myself. But we don't wear shoes inside so that was something that bugged see bits of outside bits and pieces inside.... Otherwise it was cozy, tidy overall, everything we need including all the bedding. Positioned perfect and parking was never an issue. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Devin! Thank you for providing a review of your stay at Greenlake Cottage. Please keep in mind that we are only a phone call away if there is anything we can do to make your time more enjoyable. We certainly don't want our guests to have to pull out the vacuum on their first day! I'm glad you had a positive experience overall and we would love to have you stay with us again! Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for exclusive discounts and guest promotions! |

Great Rental and Property Management Company Lynn P. from Glendale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 This is a sweet cottage and Erika at the rental agency is one of the best rental agents we've ever dealt with on a vacation home. The house is cute and comfortable, with the one possible exception of the very tiny bathroom. I am tall, (5'10") and the bathroom is a converted attic. I could not stand up straight while brushing my teeth, and the shower is almost impossible for anyone over 5 feet tall. It's in a claw foot tub, so is somewhat high off the ground;you have to climb up and step down into the tub. The ceiling is sloped on both ends and the tub is surrounded with an odd system of shower curtains on a wire. I would worry about young children or anyone with any mobility issues using this as it's a bit rough even for the agile! It was very clean however as was the rest of the house.Other than the odd bathroom, I recommend the house as it has a very comfortable bed, nice living room and the neighborhood is wonderful. The kitchen is adequate, and there is a nice flat screen tv with a dvd player and strong wifi. It is within walking distance Tanglewood, home of the Mighty O donut shop which won the Food Network competition for best donut. (and they are vegan to boot.)Add the ease of doing business with Sea to Sky rentals and you have a winning combination. We will rent from them again and recommend that you do also. They are very responsive and eager to help. (Thanks again Erika!) Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Lynn! What a wonderful review. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, not only of your stay at Greenlake Cottage but your interaction with Erika as well. I have passed along your very nice compliments to Erika! You're right; like a lot of early 1900's Seattle homes, the bathroom has a lot of charm but is on the small side. Like you pointed out, the rest of the house offers all the modern conveniences you could hope for in a vacation home! The neighborhood is wonderful and offers a lot to explore. We would love to have you stay with us again. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for exclusive promotions and guest discounts! |

Very charming A guest from Jupiter, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2013 We stayed in the Greenlake Cottage for a week in January. The property was exactly what we were looking for. It was perfect for our family of five (ages 5, 3 and 10 months). I only wish it were a little larger for future visits, as we will most likely outgrow this quaint and exceedingly charming home. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Paul! What a nice review you wrote for us. Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed your time at Greenlake Cottage. It is a lovely location and place to stay. If for whatever reason (including growing children!), the cottage doesn't work for your next visit, we do have other wonderful, boutique properties available in urban neighborhoods throughout Seattle. Let us know when you return so we can make some recommendations and make sure you receive your 5% return guest discount. Also, if you "like" us on Facebook you will have access to special discounts and promotions! |

Great taste of Seattle neighborhood living Nancy N. from Magdalena, NM recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in October, 2012 We loved our cool, rainy late fall stay in the cottage, snug and cozy. It's beautifully furnished, and the kitchen is outfitted with great tools. In Seattle, you hope for two kinds of coffee devices - we appreciated the French press. The bed is luxurious; the bathroom is small and the shower a wee bit awkward, but all in all, we loved the cottage.I walked Greenlake several times with friends, and Zoka, one of the best coffee roasters in the city, is just blocks away. I had work to do downtown, too, and was well served by two robust bus lines. You can leave the car at home here, and enjoy all that Seattle Center and downtown have to offer. As a former Seattleite, I highly recommend the Greenlake cottage for an authentic taste of daily life in my beloved city. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Nancy! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such a personal and detailed review. This is exactly the kind of post-stay response we strive for at Sea to Sky! Let us know when you plan to return so we can make sure you receive your 5% repeat guest discount. We would love to have you stay with us again! |

Nearly Perfect Roberta G. from Fairfax, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in September, 2012 Cottage is nearly perfect: barely enough hot water for one quick shower and anyone approximating 6' couldn't stand in the iron claw foot tub. More than adequate if you are visiting in the neighborhood or have access to a car for groceries, a quick trip downtown-15 min. (otherwise can take an hour by bus). Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Roberta! Thank you so much for the review. While a "nearly perfect" stay is nice, I'm sorry that your stay wasn't perfectly perfect! Please keep in mind that we are only a phone call away if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, which of course includes checking the hot water heater! Part of the charm of the Greenlake Cottage is the bathroom; however, it is a bit on the small side. Please keep in mind that we offer all return guests a 5% discount. We would love to have you stay with us again! |

Cottage in Green Lake Brad L. from Iowa City, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 The cottage was absolutely great for us. There were 2 downsides:1) There was a bad cat-litter-type smell emanating from underneath the kitchen sink. It would sometimes emanate out into the kitchen and dining room.2) Some of the living room blinds didn't work.Other than that, beautiful! Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Brad! Thank you for your review and bringing a few things to our attention! Please keep in mind that we are only a phone call away if there is something you need to make your stay more enjoyable. Your feedback will get to the right person so we can address the issues right away. I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the cottage. All return guests receive 5% off their stay. We would love to have you stay with us again! |

A sweet cottage in a picturesque neighborhood Barbara S. from Framingham, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 The cottage was sweet, very clean, and in a very desirable neighborhood - loved walking around there, viewing all the homes, mostly adorable bungalows, all different architecturally, and most with beautiful, colorful gardens. We could walk to Green Lake - one of my favorite parks in Seattle, and there were lots of wonderful cafes, plus the yummie Mighty O's Donuts - all organic - what a concept! Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Hello Barbara! Thank you so much for your review. Greenlake is a lovely area and one of the most popular walks in Seattle. In addition to supporting local Seattle business with your stay at Sea to Sky, you also support local business by treating yourself to Mighty-O Donuts! Would you mind if I passed your comments along to Mighty-O's owner? Don't forget we offer a 5% return guest discount. We would love to have you as a guest again! |

Storybook cottage A guest from Carlsbad, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 We really enjoyed our time in this Tangletown charmer. The location was great, with easy access to pretty much any part of the Seattle area (assuming you had a reason to leave the cute, Cute, CUTE neighborhood). We'd stay again, and again, and again. |

Aloha and Mahalo from Hawaii! Jacquelyn B. from Honolulu, HI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 We were very happy as soon as we walked in the door at the Greenlake Cottage! It was very cozy and clean! Loved the decor! It was absolutely perfect for my family because of it's close proximity to my mom's condo in Fremont and the University of Washington for my daughter's graduation! Mahalo so much!Warmest Aloha, |

A gem with a few imperfections A guest from Saratoga Springs, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 19 days in March, 2012 The Greenlake Cottage is a real gem of a property. The location and the well equiped house/kitchen make it an easy place to stay. The downside is that the internet wireless network is non-existent. I had to hard wire to the Quest DSL for every use which was a hassle. Ended up using the phone's hot spot when we were multiple using; which is a data eater and slow. The bathroom is a real challenge, especially if you are over 6 feet tall. The place would be perfect if they just would have done a proper bathroom when they remodeled the cottage. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky I am sorry to hear that you had problems with the wireless network but thank you for letting us know. We will be sure to have it checked out and improved as we offer this as a benefit to staying in the home. |

I would have stayed longer if I could have! Loved it. A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in March, 2012 Our stay at the Greenlake Cottage was wonderful in every way. It's an extremely cozy house with all the necessary amenities. I stayed there w/ two young children who adored it and still ask to go back. Layout is great for entertaining, kids, etc. Loved the extra touch of sending over a box of kids toys and videos, made it more exciting for children. Loved sitting in front of the fireplace in the evenings. Showering in bathtub w/ all the curtains not ideal, but a minor item given all the pluses of the house. Neighbors all very friendly, neighborhood quiet and pleasant, parking easy, usually right in front of house. Staff at Sea To Sky were lovely and helpful in all interactions. Would strongly recommend. |

Local Rental while floors were refinished A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in January, 2012 This was a terrific location - and I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting Seattle. It is in a great neighborhood and the public transport links are excellent. The house is small and was perfect for two people with one sweet old lab. The furnishing are spare but sufficient and of excellent quality. We were there in the winter and the fireplace was a great 'central heating' unit - and cozy location for sitting for all of us - lab closest of course. And I have to say that the dog cookies available on first entry were a huge hit!The kitchen is spacious and has very high quality if a little spare equipment/supplies. You'll need to bring in/buy some basics like oil and sugar and flour - unless this has been added. All appliances were great. The bathroom is a little 'funky' in terms of a claw-foot tub with a shower located under a very sloped ceiling on the second floor. It all worked ok - is was just an 'adventure' gettin in and out. The rental inquiry and exchange with the agency was excellent - professional and responsive to questions. We had no problems with the property while there. Street parking for our two cars was fine. It really is in a terrific location! |

Highly recommended with one reservation A guest from Wenatchee, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011 The location is wonderful and the house is great except the bathroom, which is very small. The shower is awkward to access for anyone and extra difficult for a tall person to use. With the exception of showering, we had a marvelous time at the Greenlake Cottage. |
