Our Mickey Mouse apartment. So named because we used a lot of Mickey Mouse items when decorating. There should be an apartment specifically for young people. The first guests were a very nice retired couple. We have the apartment in the aftermath visually somewhat "softened." On a 5,000 m2 site is our park-like garden with barbecue area and gazebo, which creates ideal conditions for rest and relaxation, just right for a romantic holiday in the nature park "Pönitzer Lake District", Scharbeutz. And yet it's only about 15 minutes down the road to the beach of the Baltic Sea and the center of Scharbeutz.
The Saxon Court is a former orchard, built in 1912 and initially used as a holiday inn, passing into the private property of the family Nehl in 1998.
A brochure from 1913 shows that the Sachsenhof even then had the highest of appointments. "Despite the rural seclusion, the hotel offers all the comforts: gas lighting, water mains (excellent iron and hard water), hot water heater, bathroom, water closet, reading room, writing room, library, pianola, photographic darkroom, good murals in the living room and guest rooms." The farm was touted as a place of rest and relaxation.
