This adorable little condo was perfect for our yearly, Easter getaway to Savannah. We've stayed in many hotels in the area and none of them could compare to the coziness and location of this place. The exposed brick in the bedrooms is gorgeous! The kitchen was stocked very nicely with tools for us to cook. The beds were super comfortable. We really loved staying at this insanely convenient location. We could walk almost anywhere! Loved it! We will be back! :)

Our family of 4 stayed here in May 2012. The reservation process was smooth and both aubrey and Pat were pleasant and helpful. Property is exactly as pictured. Bed linens and towels were higher end, which was a nice little surprise, and the kitchen and living areas really came in handy. The location of this property is just steps off Bay Street - so quick walking distance to most of the downtown areas (River St and City Market were places we frequented). The only downside to this rental was that the bar next door was adjacent to the king-bedroom, and we heard staff noise and bottles/trash taken out all hours of the night. Otherwise, very clean property, excellent location, would recommend.

We loved the Paul Hamilton house. It was beautiful and very clean. We were very comfortable there. The kitchen was nice and the beds were comfortable. It was conviently located in the downtown area and we were able to ride bikes or walk everywhere we wanted to go. Since it is in downtown you can hear the morning bustle of delivery trucks and openings. One of the bedrooms is right next to a resturaunt and you can hear the workers taking out the trash and talking when they are on their breaks. We would definitely stay there again but would bring some earplugs..

This stay in Savannah was the perfect thing for our group. The grandparents live in NC and we live in FL. It was the perfect middle ground for us. The condo was in a great location and we were all very comfortable.

Loved the house and especially the location. We were there for the Rock and Roll Marathon so it worked out perfect. We felt the rate was too high. Especially having to pay for three nights when we were only there for two.It was very clean and comfortable. It was a good experience for my daughter and myselt.

We live in Atlanta and make frequent visits to Savannah as a nearby getaway. This is the first time we rented a house versus a hotel room on River Street. The value of this rental is superior in quality and pricing when compared to the accomodations across the street on River Street. The house was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. When you stay in this part of Savannah it is usually noisy. Our unit was particularly noisy since a restaraunt was literally a few feet away from one of the bedrooms. This was the ONLY issue with the rental. We would definitely stay in the unit again and would recommend to friends. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful property with the traveling public!

I did personal repliesto Aubrey Springer and to Pat Cook. Anyway I have nothing but good things to say about our trip to Savannah. Savannah Getaways exceeded my expectations in handling accommodation needs. Aubrey was helpful, pleasant and professional in our phone conversations. My e-mails were promptly responded to. Needed/requested information was thoroughly explained and followed through on promptly( I had my deposit money back 10 days after check-out,). The Condo was great. The weathered appearance of the outside of the building is misleading. As the condo itself was very clean, neat and up to date. The location was perfect. Pat Cook(owner of the building) was wonderful to talk with and gave me great info on the city. I have already given your info to two of my traveling companions, and would happily use your services again. Also, it was a beautiful time of year to be in Savannah.....

This little place, tucked behind (and above) a great little restaurant was PERFECT for the big group of girls for the weekend. We arrived, parked our cars and never got into a vehicle the whole weekend - we walked EVERYWHERE. It's a block from River Street for going out at night and there are tons of restaurants nearby, along with shopping, Starbucks and Panera, etc. Comfortable amenities and great common area for gathering the whole group in one unit. It was delightful, and the bachelorette had a great weekend with her girlfriends!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect. It was very clean and offered everything that we needed. The beds are very comfortable. We vacation in Savannah at least twice a year. We have rented from Savannah Getaways several times and have been pleased each time. We would rent this location again.

This was my second visit to Savannah in 45 years. Besides my desire to experience my hometown again, also I would attend a reunion of my nursing school class and show my adult son this side of his heritage. Because of our interest in history, I chose accommodations in the historic area, this 1799 home. We found the condo to be comfortable, tastefully decorated and perfectly located for exploring the historic area by foot. We had no trouble accessing the entry keys, but did have difficulty locking the key box when we left. Parking was a daily problem. There are three condos in the home and the parking area is only wide enough for two cars requiring the third party to block the front car. During our stay, the party in the upper condo brought two cars making parking even more difficult. We and the visitors in the condo next to us had to notify each other sometimes if we needed to drive out. This was a definite annoyance. The grounds outside the home were not landscaped and there was building refuse between the home and the restaurant next door. Not very attractive or inviting and a missed opportunity to enhance the home's appeal. A telephone directory for Savannah would be helpful. Correcting these issues will make this an ideal stay.
