Lots of room and great location!! ljthumper from Mid Cities, Texas, Stayed for 0 days in October, 2012 We stayed in this condo in early Ocotober. The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Loved this place! 2 beds/2 bath with lots of room to really get comfortable. Love the kitchen too. Everything was updated and had all you could need to prepare meals. The location is excellent for walking around historic Savannah. River Street is just across the street and lovely Elllis Square was the other direction. Close to City Market too. Comfy beds and roomy bathrooms...oh and huge closets. More than enough room to store all your stuff. Lots of places to eat are at your doorstep. We will definately return to Savannah and this will be our go to place. The rental agency was easy to work with and quickly returned the deposit. Only a couple of cons which aren't that bad. The bathrooms could use more towel bars. Parking in a garage is included in the rental, but you have to return the parking pass to the room before you leave. Finding a place to park outside so you can run back up to return the pass was a slight issue.If you have a second driver, they could just make a lap around the block as this is completed. However, without another driver this was a bit of a challenge. Then the master bedroom did have some street noise on Saturday and Sunday night as people walked up and down the street in party mode. Again not too bad, just something to consider. After the weekend, the noise was gone. Both of us thought this was the perfect location. We walked all over Savannah and enjoyed the squares very much. |

Best location for food and entertainment! Better than advertised! Family Traveler from Macon, GA, Stayed for 0 days in February, 2012 This was my family's first visit to Savannah and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. This is a perfect choice for a family or for two couples vacationing together. The furnishings were much more comfortable than the commercial grade furnishings normally found in rental condos. It felt like house sitting, not like staying in a typical vacation condo. The location was great. Once we arrived, we did not have to use the car again until we left. The owners of this unit provided plenty of information about Savannah that proved helpful. This will be our first choice the next time we visit Savannah. |

Best Place to Stay in Savannah! Floridians and English folk from St. Petersburg, FL, Stayed for 0 days in October, 2011 We stayed in this place for 3 nights with two friends from England. When we first went in, Barbara and I were literally jumping up and down as we explored the apartment. We loved it!! It was immaculate and very well appointed--there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. We especially liked that there was a full sized washer and dryer--we didn't have to take home any dirty clothes. Our only regret was that we didn't have enough time to enjoy the apartment and also explore Savannah. The location was excellent, too. We walked everywhere or took the trolley that stopped right outside. We will definitely stay at News Place 305 again--and for a longer time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great location as well as an elegant place to call home for a while. Thank you so much. |

Our rental was much bigger than we imagined. It was very clean, towels were laid out and everything was right where we were told. We were close to everything we wanted to see. Every night on the square to the back and right of us had live music, all you had to do was open the doors or windows. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
