Charming Garden level one bedroom apartment on the east side of Savannah’s Historic Landmark district, facing Crawford Square. Spacious (900 sq ft) open layout offers all the comforts of home, except in the most beautiful city in America! Easy walking distance to River Street, shopping, restaurants, and Colonial Park Cemetery. Our amenity laden home includes tile floors, central air, fireplace with gas logs, one bedroom, comfortable full bath with standard size tub shower combo with grab bars, all on one floor. Other amenities include washer and dryer, ceiling fans, use of a gated courtyard garden and dedicated off street parking for one vehicle, additional street parking is available at no charge.



You are sure to enjoy the comfort and beauty of this conveniently located home in Savannah`s beautiful historic district. Take advantage of Savannah`s reputation as a top ten walking city with walking access to all the best Savannah Squares, including in our own front yard updated Crawford Square, with a charming gazebo and a sunken area (great for dogs) with an original city cistern. This is a prime position within the historic district just two blocks from Owens Thomas and Davenport House Museums and three historic theatres as well as Broughton Street shopping. This tasteful replica of a federal style home features artwork by many well-known contemporary Savannah artists as well as a comfortable mix of traditional and modern.



The living room has a Queen size sleeper sofa, accent chair, loveseat and a breakfast table with additional seating. It also has a working fireplace with gas logs, a flat screen cable TV, and a Blu-ray DVD player. The fully equipped galley kitchen offers a smooth top stove with self-cleaning oven, refrigerator with filtered ice and water, along with a microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. The bedroom has a pillow-top king size bed and ceiling fan, plus a large closet and two bureaus. There is a full size washer and dryer and a full size ironing board and iron for your convenience. The fenced and beautifully landscaped courtyard has tables and chairs ideal for enjoying your morning coffee, an evening cocktail or some outdoor time with your favorite pet.



Designated off-street parking for one vehicle is available adjacent to the building and there are no meters or permits needed if you have more than the one vehicle. No smoking is allowed inside our home or in the courtyard as we maintain a smoke-free environment.



Please also note that the property owner lives upstairs, so if you are coming to Savannah to party late into the night, this is not the place for you. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood far enough away from the hustle and bustle of River Street and City Market but all of that is a short, pleasant walk away. Property owners are a well-known artist and a designer, each living in Savannah for over 15 years. They are available to provide advice about local amenities and events or arrive with your plans complete and enjoy your stay. WiFi access available.

½ block in from Price Street with its convenient bike lane. Crawford Square has a lovely gazebo and a great area for dogs. Nearby Colonial Park Cemetery is nice for a stroll and has an adjacent playground. Nearby restaurants include a four star French restaurant one block south and a Jersey style pizza joint two blocks north in a plaza with a sushi restaurant as well as hair salon/ chiropractor/ etc. in Crawford Square Plaza two blocks north. Only a short walk away from River Street, restaurants, art galleries, theaters and bars, as well as Parker’s Gourmet Store and Gas Station which is open 24/7.

St Patrick’s Day Week: This property does not rent over St Patrick's Day Week.

Cleaning fee: $41.60 ($40 with *Cash Discount)

All reservations do require a refundable security deposit and a non-refundable processing fee. Fees will vary with online booking.

*Rental payments are due twenty days prior to the check in date (no exceptions). Accepted forms of cash payments are personal checks, cashier`s checks and money orders. Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If booking within twenty days of check in, full payment via credit card is required.

a little gem on Houston St. Wstw1 from Corolla, Outer Banks, NC, Stayed for 0 days in January, 2010 This is a little gem overlooking a quaint square. We literally parked our car and walked everywhere! The owners are charming and live upstairs. Highly recommend this location as it is close to everything...squares, riverfront, museums, great restaurants! We stayed for the month and plan on coming back next year for 2 months, plus it is dog friendly as we have a cute bichon who loved the parks. Accomodations are nice, small and quaint. Cozy Apartment Close to Everything onegai from Norcross, GA, Stayed for 0 days in December, 2009 Check-in and check-out were super easy. The owner lives above the unit and was there with lots of helpful information and resources. Parking is close, which is nice in the historic district. The unit was fully outfitted (including kitchen), and had everything we could possibly need. It was great that it had internet service, but seemed to only have wired (not wireless). But we weren't there for the internet so that didn't count for much. The unit is located on the east side of the historic district only a few blocks from all of the sights. The only driving we did was to go out to the islands. For dining, we wandered around on foot eating at the variety of restaurants nearby. Overall it was a great experience. It had everything we needed and was so close to everything! We took our bikes and saw the stunning city of Savannah that way and it was perfect. The apartment was very clean and quiet. The courtyard is nice to sip a glass of wine in the evenings. The best thing for us was that it was pet friendly so we didn't have to leave our dogs at a kennel. Perfect Savannah Rendezvous cedar from Orlando and Manhattan, Stayed for 0 days in May, 2009 Very clean, well equiped, well appointed property. LR, BR, Full kitchen, Flower filled courtyard w/ table and chairs. Savannah Getaways is an excellent rental company, and I plan to use them again in the fall. The onsite landlady/lord were an excellent source of information on the local area and insider tips on what to see and do, they were always available and friendly, but unintrusive. The living room furniture and bed were very comfortable, with nice reading material, local information provided. Easy parking, great location within easy walking distance to everything. This is an excellent property, well worth the cost. The only minor drawback was the noise passing from the unit above us down to our unit, but it was never a problem late in the evening or early in the morning- so were were not disturbed. This property was great for a long weekend, but would be great for a stay of a month or longer. If I were returning for a long visit, I would probably bring a DVD player- tho the excellent wireless access would making watching downloaded movies a breeze. This historic district property is close to EVERYTHING and a great spot from which to drive South to the Golden Isles or North to Beaufort and Hilton Head. It was within walking distance of most everything in the historic district. The only thing we found that was ok but we are not use to is the bed was very firm. However, we would stay there if we came to Savannah again! Our whole experience working with Savannah Getaways was positive and the Archers were wonderful to us!
