Sante Fe --- just okay Audrey W. from St. Louis, MO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 The home was described as much closer to the plaza than it actually was. We arrived to a somewhat clean house but dogs and their hair was visible. We had an issue with a breaker Saturday morning and called at 9 am. We heard from no one by 5, called back and we finally resolved the situation ourselves at 10 pm. Not great customer service at all. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2011 There were 1.5 toilet paper rolls per bathroom (a true sign of cheap), we had electrical issues and called the '24-hour' maintenance TWICE - never called back, we needed to drop luggage off 2 hours earlier than the 4pm check in (the place was empty from guests 2 days prior) very accommodating we got keys at 10 minutes til 4. little things add up.. Great location...terrible house A guest from Houston, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2011 House was a complete mess upon arrival. Apparently the owner had stayed there previously and it had not been cleaned since their departure 3 days prior. Cleaning service came the next day and did a great job fixing up the place. However, over the course of our stay we awoke each morning to mouse droppings and packages of food that had been eaten through. Looks like the mouse poison didn't work guys! Musty old furniture and linens made for a very unpleasant stay. The only god thing was the location. The first evening we caught a mouse, one of the tubs did not drain, there were some bulbs that did not work, and the paper supplies were not sufficient. On top of that our call to the company was not responded to for 48 hours. For the amount that we paid we expected a better level of service. The above did not detract from a wonderful stay and we will most likely rent from Kokopelli in the future, but we will also expect a level of service more in line with the cost of the stay. We have two small kids, so it was nice to be across the street from a park with a nice playground and swimming pool as well as an easy stroll to the plaza. The four bedrooms fit our group nicely and we liked the decoration (esp. the neat totum poles in the courtyard and dining room) and the view of the mountains. We would stay here again.
