This 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Adobe Santa Fe Vacation Home and Casita sleeps a maximum of 8 guests and is located in the Historic East Side off a quiet dirt lane. The home is a pleasant walk to both the Santa Fe Plaza (.8 miles) and Canyon Road (about 1/2 mile). At the house walk through the front gate and find your self in a beautiful and private shaded landscaped yard with peek views to the local mountains. Upon entering the home you will find a large spacious kitchen with stainless appliances, updated kitchen cabinets, and a large dining room table with seating for 10. Also within the kitchen is a sitting area perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while reading the paper in comfortable leather chairs. Adjoining the Kitchen, the living room has leather sofas, a wood burning fireplace for those cool Santa Fe evenings, and large flat screen TV with BluRay Player as well as cable access. The living room also features a seating area and table in the living room ideal for playing cards or board games with friends and family. The master bedroom suite is very large with king sized bed, large bathroom with separated shower and bath and doorway to an outdoor patio with kiva fireplace. The first guest room has a queen sized bed and shares a bathroom off the hall with the second guest room with 2 twin beds for the kids or single members of your group. The twins can also be converted to a king to accomodate the additional couple in your group. For the additional members of your party you will find a small private casita located in the adjacent yard with separate entrance from the parking area. The casita has a small private yard and an open studio style floor plan. The casita has a full kitchen, king bed and bathroom. This traditional style home is a great place to gather with friends and family for your next vacation with vigas, original artworks, venetian plaster walls throughout both the main house and casita.

Casa de Colores A guest from Dallas, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2013 The property is lovely, clean, beautifully appointed and large. The location is VERY difficult to find, even with step by step directions. It is not really walking distance to the square. The guest house located on the property was large and pretty. However, there was no coffee maker in the guest house, no toilet paper holder (just a roll sitting on the tank) and a funny musty smell. There are straight chairs for a table but no comfortable chairs for relaxing or reading. I was disappointed with the guest house and would not use it again. The large house was beautiful but there are no views. The master bath does NOT have doors-just a curtain across the doorway. These are just minor issues that could be fixed. All in all the property was very nice, very clean and very pretty. Property Manager Response: Response from Kokopelli Property Management Thank you for your thoughtful review. The house is indeed difficult to find and we considered naming it ?Casa Escondida? (already taken). We love the quiet rural feel of the neighborhood with views to the Santa Fe Ski area from the portal and yet only 0.8 mile to the Plaza. As relatively new owners of the property it is particularly helpful to get feedback on the guesthouse, in which we do not personally stay while in Santa Fe. We have ordered a coffee maker and the suggestion of comfortable chair is a good one. The property is staged to rent the guesthouse with the main house, in which there are three separate sitting areas. It was easy to get around even walking, though we mostly drove. The property had everything with the exception of a dishwasher. I would stay here again in the future and likely will. I was disappointed in this issue, but liked the house and location very much. Beautiful and close to the Plaza! Prairie C. from Noble, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 Casa de Colores was way more than we expected it to be. It is a beautiful home with a great view and very close to the Plaza. The kitchen has high end appliances and is stocked with all the dishes and pots and pans you need. The radiant heating kept the floors warm and the rest of the house comfy even when it was snowing outside. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The house is beautiful and perfectly laid out for a family vacation. My only complaint was that the house didn't have a dishwasher, but there are so many great dining options nearby that it barely factored into the trip.
