All of the architectural features in this 2,500 sq. ft. three bedroom, three bath home make it a classic Santa Fe property. This gracious adobe is just steps from the best coffee shop and bookstore in town and just a few blocks to Canyon Road and the Plaza. Details are found throughout the home such as brick and wide plank floors, wood and viga ceilings, hand made doors and three kiva fireplaces.

There is a great privacy and separation for each bedroom. Each suite has a bath as well as its own heat and A/C controls. There is a desk, Wi-Fi and TV/DVD in each bedroom. This house features a king and two queens. The king can also be made up as twins if you prefer.

The large living room seats eight people comfortably and still has room for the piano. You will want to sit around the fireplace and enjoy the piano which is available for your enjoyment. The owners provide unlimited long distance phone service.

The dining and kitchen has all that you need for a simple meal or gourmet feast. Off the dining room is your private garden patio with BBQ area for outdoor dining. There are large shade trees, umbrella and a fountain to complete the scene.

A large coyote gate at the driveway to the home makes access easy and private once you drive into the compound feel of the home with plenty of parking.

Very Nice...BUT Estuardo S. from Kingwood, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2012 My family and I stayed at the Garcia Street Adobe house for Spring Break. The house is very nice, and we (six) had ample room. However, we encountered a couple of unexpected guests in the house. We saw two different mice in one of the bedrooms. While we are cognizant of the natural fauna, the presence of mice is very troubling, especially due to hygiene and health related issues. I brought this matter to the attention of a Kokopelli representative when I returned the house keys. Overall, we would recommend this property and Kokopelli, but I would get assurances that mice are not present. The management company phone check in was fine but I would have preferred a personal tour and introduction to the house on arrival and a manual about the house systems.Items needing correction before I would rent again are:Allowing for winter the outside yard cleanliness was sub par. There is an issue with the roof mounted heating system and the living room fireplace. When the system kicks in the fire place downdrafts. It is beyond annoying.The various minor differential floor heights, particularly at the kitchen and master bedroom are both annoying and dangerous. All 6 guests stubbed toes and nearly fell multiple times at these locations which are not well lit or logical. At the very least some threshold modification is advised.The kitchen was very well equipped although constant hot water for baths and showers was problematic.
