The house is beautiful and couldn't have a better location for my family: short walking distance to the Plaza, and right at the beginning of the road that takes us to the Ski Station. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because the floors were extremely dirty when we arrived - both the tile (especially in the family room and kitchen) and the carpet (especially in the staircases). We contacted the owner after our stay and he immediately took action to avoid having this happen again, so I would definitely recommend the house to someone else and would consider staying there again. Kokopelli people very helpful when needed. Two things: 1)the exterior doors with the different handles---turn up to close I think--maybe explain this to people not exposed to such devices. We called about faulty door locks until my brother showed up and knew how to operate them. 2) The shower tubs' drains were not working well or at all---maintenance should have fixed this before our arrival. Kokopelli--poor customer service A guest from Vancouver, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 The property was nice, in good condition and in a great location. However, I found communication with Kokopelli to be very poor. On the second night of our stay the roof leaked substantially in one of the bedrooms, in three places. We called the property management company, who brushed us off and said it was a "non-emergency." After our stay, I contacted the property management company to report the incident. I did not receive an apology, in fact I didn't even receive a reply. We had to move furniture, sleep to the sound of dripping water--we probably saved the carpet, television, a piece of art, and a tv stand from ruin and did not receive a word of thanks. The location was perfect for having a short walk to the plaza and still stay in the foothills on the way to the Bishop's lodge. Everything about the condo was perfect. It was on 3 levels with the kitchen and living area on the entry level; one bedroom below and two on the top floor. Enough baths for everyone, a small fountain, gas barbecue and fireplace outside, a gourmet kitchen which was well stocked, and with lots of visual interest both inside and out. There are three patios and long windows everywhere to let in the Santa Fe sun. Even the floor in the master bath was heated and no detail spared in the decorations and functionality of the place.
