This lovely private condominium is in a very quiet hillside setting at Pueblo Encantado, just a short drive from the Plaza and minutes from the Santa Fe Opera and the charming village of Tesuque. The 5 star Rancho Encantado Spa and Restaurant is right across the road. The extra large patio affords beautiful views of the Rio Grande Valley and the Jemez Mountains, and is situated to take full advantage of the spectacular Santa Fe sunsets. This home is on two levels. On the first level is the beautifully furnished living room, which offers great views through its floor-to-ceiling windows. It has a new fireplace and a leather sleeper sofa. Also on the first level is a spacious master bedroom suite with a kiva fireplace and flat screen TV/DVD. The recently upgraded master bathroom is done in Mexican tiles and has two hand-painted Mexican sinks and a grand tiled walk-in shower. This bedroom suite has its own private patio. The upper level features a new gourmet kitchen, a dining room, and the second bedroom and bath. This level also has a new washer & dryer. Pueblo Encantado also has a community pool (a rare treat in Santa Fe) with breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. All the buildings in this complex are single story and nestled discreetly in a country setting that is still just minutes from all Santa Fe's restaurants and attractions. This ideal north side location also puts you quickly on the way to Taos, the High Road to Chimayo, the hot springs at Ojo Caliente, and the drive to Georgia O'Keeffe country. It's also just a 1/2 hour to the Santa Fe ski basin.

This home is located near Views from the Ridge, Pueblo Encantado 209, and Pueblo Encantado 227, and when leased together can accommodate a larger group traveling together or multiple families looking to stay close in proximity to one another.

Suggestions to make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable A guest from Surprise, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 26 days in August, 2012 We loved the condo. The location was perfect. The unit had everything we could ask for as for kitchen appliances, tv, dvd player, etc. We offer the following for your consideration to offer additional comfort. It is suggested ceiling fans be added to the living room, dining/kitchen area and bedrooms. The condo does retain the afternoon heat in the late afternoon and into the evening. In addition, the couch in the living room is not terribly comfortable. The outside patio is a wonderful place to relax. We do offer the suggestion that the bushes be trimmed to allow for a full view of the mountains. As it was during our visit, the view was limited. We would have loved a fuller view. Consideration should be given to have an exterminator come once a month. Not that the condo was overrun with insects. It wasn't. But we did find a few scorpians and some other insect with about a hundred legs. The patio also had a number of ant hills coming out between the floor bricks. We live in the desert here in Phoenix and know quite well about controlling insects in and around the home. An exterminator once a month would better control the issue. At first the distance from Santa Fe seemed awkward, but each time we drove it, it seemed to shrink. It really is only 10 mins. The surroundings are gorgeous. The unit is spectacular and very comfortable. We can't wait to return. The management co. did not tell us the pool/hot tub would be closed in the winter, which seemed deliberately misleading (considering our objections to the pool waiver wording). While in Santa Fe I would never consider staying anywhere else because of the peace, serenity, and privacy! In fact, as-much-as I love Santa Fe, I would be less likely to visit if the Pueblo Encantado was unavailable. I have a few casita preferences and #205 is one of them. Truly an enchanted casita with both panoramic and intimate views Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2009 This is a casita with many blessings. The location is secluded, peaceful and surrounded by views, birdsong and cotton tails. However Sante Fe is an easy 10 minute drive. We especially enjoyed the Bishop's Lodge Road route. There are two patios with comfortable seating to enjoy the outdoors. The interior has a lovely master with views as does the livingroom.The furnishings are full of Southwest whimsy and charm. We were very happy with the stay. It worked so good for our family especially because we had two little children with us and a A guest from Burt, Iowa recommends this property.
