Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 This rental was beautifully furnished with lots of Santa Fe charm, great seperation and privacy between the two bedrooms and bathrooms, charming wood burning horno style corner fireplace in the living room, lots of windows and an abundance of natural light as well as a nice bar area for entertaining. The unit also has a lovely walled outdoor flagstone patio with fabulous mountain views, ample off street parking, wonderful quiet foothill location in the very desirable near northside of town yet is still very walkable to the historic downtown plaza. The unit was clean and well maintained and both the property management and maintenance staff were very responsive whenever an issue needed to be addressed.Property is also potentially pet friendly. The owners may consider allowing one well behaved dog if an additional non-refundable cleaning deposit is paid and the animal is not left alone in the unit. As a 20 year resident of Santa Fe I would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a wonderful home stay in the City Different... It is located as the last unit of a condo-complex and is very quiet, with a small but nice enclosed patio area which worked great for our pets. The interior of the condo is simple but pleasant and it is nicely decorated in a traditional (terratorial) southwest style. The condo complex being older has 2 fairly small bedrooms and 2 very small bathrooms - by modern standards. The kitchen appliances are modern and the appointments are more than adequate for a short stay (although it would have been nice to have some more of the basics present -- coffee, spices,etc.). Our winter stay was made pleasant by sitting in the main living room with the Kiva fireplace roaring. The main drawback we found was that the rooms were all very dark in the evening when the blinds were closed; there was inadequate light, and the decor itself tended to be dark -- adding to the problem at night. We ended up moving a lamp packed away in a closet, to the living room, to get more light.Overall, this is a nice place for a couple to stay, although a bit far from the Plaza for newcomers to Santa Fe to easily experience its charm.The rental agency was extremely courteous and responded quickly to our needs.
