Wonderful Condo, Bad Service from Kokopelli Management A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 This condo is very nice and cozy. There was plenty of room for my family, it was clean, well-stocked, had very nice bathrooms, pretty furniture, and high quality linens. It is in the perfect location for a ski vacation. I would recommend it to a friend.However, the property manager was terrible. The internet didn't work, and I called the property manager 3 times in one day during normal business hours and didn't get a return call for more than 24 hours. The manager left a voicemail saying, "Oh well, you probably got it figured out by now," and never fixed the problem. I specifically chose this property so I could work online while on vacation, and this feature was never available. More disturbingly, one night the car parked in front of the condo was shot at (directly towards our door), breaking two of the car's windows. There was glass everywhere across the sidewalk leading toward the front door, not to mention our nerves being shot, and the property manager never acknowledged my phone calls regarding the situation. We tracked some of the glass in on our shoes despite trying to keep it out.Bottom line: condo A+, property manager F-. The pool and jacuzzi were not accessible, we needed to have an access key. Another family let us in. Also the jets in the jacuzzi did not work at all and the temp was only 92 degrees in the jacuzzi. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2012 This is not for a formal review: The a/c had a problem while we were there and leaked in the kitchen where the air return is located. Called the office, and someone came out the next day and fixed it. Guy to clean the chiminey was there durin our stay also. A little intrusive between the repair and the cleaning. Otherwise, the condo was vey nicel furnished and decorated, the kitchen well equiped, and everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay. You may get two other replies, as there were four of us there and someone else may want to comment. The unit itself was overall clean, my husband found dirty sheets on the fold out bed. Also, HVAC unit had a lot to be desired. The downstairs leaked and the upstairs unit was not charged making for a warm evening dependent on the fan. The maintenance folks knew of the upstairs issue but the downstairs issue they just told us to keep it running. Overall, the place is nice, but if the property management knows about a HVAC issue it should be resolved prior to renting it out. Like our past trips, this trip was fantastic, and the quality/location of our rental was an important aspect of the trip. There was one unfortunate and uncharacteristic problem during this trip. The AC in our property did not function properly, and given that there were record high temps in Santa Fe and that we paid extra for a place with AC, we were put out that, despite notifying Kokopelli on the first morning of our stay, the AC was not fixed 7 days later when we left. The only problem we experience was with the hot water. The management was quick to respond even though the problem was not completely fixed. We believe the hot water heater was just too small for the unit. Ryan and jeff and one other was extremely nice and helpful. We were given a gift card to dine in the plaza which we appreciated. We thought our condo #92 Artist Road was great. tina w. from Heath, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2011 We thought the overall experience was great. The only problem was the hot water situation. We didn't always have it even if we were gone all day and not used any water. The only other thing was the dvd player couldn't read any DVD's. Kokopelli management was very responsive. Especially Ryan, Jeff, Koy and Marcia. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great week. Santa Fe is our new favorite vacation spot for skiing.
