Tesuque Casita Brett Z. from Fort Wayne, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 9 days in May, 2013 We expected a 100+ year-old adobe in the Santa Fe hills and that is exactly what we got. It was a wonderful, peaceful get away from our normal hectic schedules. It is small with the thick adobe walls and rough timbers you would expect of the old west. If on the other hand, you are looking for The Four Seasons type of stay, there is one just down the road. We were not in this case and we could not have been happier. VERY private and very happy 9 day stay! |

title A guest from Avon, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2012 Some improvements..1. Bigger microwave or more cooking implements2. Replace the shower head, it is plugged up from the exceptionally hard water. I would suggest a water softener.3. In Indiana we are required to have a backflow preventer if we have an underground watering system. I saw an underground watering system running but didn't see a backflow preventer. This could be a plumbing code violation. |

lovely house - good for relaxing! A guest from London, UK recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in July, 2012 We had a nice time during our 2 week stay in this very nice house in El Nido Lane -- a few improvements would have made it a truly 5-star experience:1) the dishes/glasses/plates should be checked for cleanliness before guests arrive;2) would be great to have some plastic cups/glasses for use outdoors instead of risking the glassware;3) the small guest room (maid's quarters?) has a non-working TV, non-working shower, no curtains/blinds over the door to prevent the light coming in while sleeping. Also lacks a window or fresh ventilation other than keeping the door open;4) need a handbook with "Frequently Asked Questions" to know how to operate the house (e.g., coffee maker which overflows if you put the lid on the pot while brewing)as well as info about the local wildlife;5) the electrical sockets are extremely worrying/scary -- panel plates not screwed in securely, fear of being electrocuted when plugging in your PC;6) have someone fill the huge potholes in the dirt road leading up El Nido Lane to the paved part -- takes 10 minutes to put shovels of dirt in them and would make the approach to the house much more comfortable. |

8 El Nido Lane, Tesusque, NM A guest from Lompoc, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in September, 2009 We stayed in the same Casita a year ago, and when we left we asked the property mgmt co. to put up some curtains, replace some towels and sheets and fix a few things. One year later we came back not only was everything unchanged there was even a newspaper we bought a year ago in the night stand. We love the location but it is under very bad management considering how expensive a weeks rent is. Property Manager Response: We will follow up on these issues - TMG guest/house. |

Tesuque Casita Daniel F. from New York, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2009 We have used this casita for three different visits and have made it our comfortable home in Santa Fe. It is convenient, quiet, comfortable, and genuinely down home Santa Fe. We are happy to recommend it (as long as it is free when we want it!). |
