Disappointed with a dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, and a musty smell when we got there. A little cleaning and some febreeze, things got better. Sanibel Accommodations was very professional and apologetic. The location is good for access to the island activities, and to avoid traffic. From here, you are quickly on the beach and good shelling. Island Beach Club could use their grounds better with some grilling areas and other features in the exterior lawn areas. This might help them be more competitive with other properties. Review of condo no. 210B Island Beach Club week of 3/2/13 Mary A. from Warsaw, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 The rental really should be professionally cleaned. The bathroom, especially, had dirt around the baseboard and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Our bedspread had blood (or something that looked like that) on it. So, I pulled it off the bed. The tv in the master bedroom did not work while we were there. There was a note that a repairman would come and fix it. He came, but it wasn't fixed. I reported that, but still not working. The furniture in the living room was very dirty. That should be replaced, or at least professionally cleaned. Probably won't stay in this unit again. We did not have to be right on the beach but we enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to cross the street to get there. We felt that it wasn't a very child friendly community. We also felt that it should have had 7 dishwasher detergents and coffee filters. These are inexpensive to provide and would have added a lot. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed it.
