Our Stay At Point Santo E1 A guest from Memphis, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 The condo was nice overall. The kitchen was updated and had everything you could need for cooking meals. The master bath really could use updating b/c the tub was so tall it was hard to get in and out of it. The guest bedroom had a sliding glass door to a private patio surrounded by green plants which attracted bugs. The screened porch was wonderful and seemed to be the only place you could access WiFi. Our yearly stay A guest from Lake Barrington, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 This is is our 6th year staying in this unit on Sanibel. I noticed that the whirlpool tub had not been maintained (the jets were full of muck that spewed out as my sin was bathing) and that the garbage disposal did not work in the kitchen sink. Otherwise it was as wonderful a stay as ever and we will be back next year! The location in the complex is ideal, it's quiet and lose to the pool and beach where you just walk outside not having to take the elevators. We love it! The condo itself was great and just as advertised. My beef is there was some toilet problems. Specifically one overflowed and we used all of our towels to stop the disgusting flood, shut the bathroom off and called the rental company. Of course this happened around 6pm which was after hours. The person who answered the phone was clearly reluctant to call a plubmer 'after hours' and assured me someone would be there at 8am. Around 8:45 I call and it turns out they did nothing overnight to prepare for helping us at 8am. We finally got the problem resolved by the maintenance crew from the Point. I new quality king bed need to be put in especially at the rental price... maybe even a Sleep Number Bed.The carpets need cleaning. The bath carpets need replaceing as very tried and dirty. Needs a new TV in 2nd bedroom. The DVD's are 15 years old maybe a few bucks spent here for some new flicks whould be nice.
