This unit is also right by the elevator, so that was very convenient. The long screened in deck was a wonderful place to hang out - the table and lawn chairs on the deck were very useful (and appeared fairly new). Nice appliances and kitchen... cupboards were stocked quite well with a variety of utensils and dishwares. Washer/dryer very handy. The round kitchen table served us well with many card games each night. The newly remodeled bathrooms were awesome! Only other thing to mention was that the sofa sleeper was not comfortable, and we actually went out and bought an air mattress for the two that were sleeping there.We would rent this unit again! It was a pain to have all the people from the complex next door using our pool while theirs was under repair. White Sands 23 is NOT RENOVATED A guest from Mendham, NJ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2011 Sold to me as "recently renovated" 2bd + den, "like a 3bd." Not a stick of furniture under ten years old and the den was really a couch crammed into the foyer. Dirty walls, grimy bed coverings and that's just a start. Sanibel Accomodations quickly found us an acceptable alternative but had the nerve to hit us with an additional charge. Cannot recommend White Sands 23 or Sanibel Accomodations. Property needs renovation to justify cost! Dewayne S. from Louisville, KY does not recommend this property. They need to knock out the closet in the master and enlarge the bathroom.Second bedroom had a very smokey smell to it, which did not allow us to use it for our children.
