Extended Family Holiday in Palmilla

Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011
Everything was 'as advertised', from the greeting and pick-up service at the airport to the greeting at the house, the golf cart-for-hire and the rental car. We had a large home for 6 adults and one child and it was ideal for our needs. Very clean. Most everything 'worked', and the view and beach adjacency was perfect. The catering service was also top-notch, and the staff exceptional. And the home was everything you would expect in a high-end Palmilla home: very well done, simple but stylish decor, and enough space and functionality for everyone.The hot tub proved to be more complicated than necessary (and was occasionally 'the cold tub'). And some nuisance things didn't work well: no functioning clocks in the house; the oven was tempermental, and the maid's deficiencies were hard to correct given lack of English skills (or our lack of Spanish skills).
