Overall Property Description:
The villa was an ancient historical structure going back to before the year 1200, originally the chapel "Santa Maria Church", near the burg of Casaglia. Over the centuries, the chapel was deconsecrated to become, first a watchtower, and then a place where the farmers of the surrounding countryside would hold their rural festivals and where they also kept their farming implements.
The owners have personally restored the villa, preserving the original stones, which were then used in the reconstruction; old and similar materials were used to replace what was missing.
Personalised assistance to the clients: the owners/managers manage all services personally, from welcoming the guests on arrival to assisting them throughout their stay in all their needs, to the upkeep of the pool and garden, to cleaning the premises.
