Property Reviews
Wonderful!
Peggy from Mission Viejo, CA.,
Stayed for 0 days in August, 2012
We had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, private and the decor was lovely. The service was exceptional. There was everything we needed for our stay there. The area was beautiful and so close to the mountains. We loved the spa! It really should be part of the summer package as well. We will return when needed!

Great Space, but hot hot hot inside
Disappointed In Utah from NY,
Stayed for 0 days in April, 2012
Rented this house for a family reunion we had. Had 12 family members stay at this house- we all fit in nicely, however the temperature in Utah warmed up over the weekend and the inside of the house was 80+ degrees inside for 3 days!!! Called the emergency phone number for help the first night we stayed there and they sent someone the next day to check it out only to find that the swamp cooler (which is maintained by the neighborhood Home Owners association) was covered for the "winter" and there was nothing they could do about it. 24 hours into the stay and sweating like pigs, they brought us a tiny portable aC unit and installed it in the family room. It did nothing but cool off the family room and we all huddled together in that one room to stay cool. Worst experience ever to have so much space in the home but not be able to use it since we couldnt even breathe. Trying getting 12 people ready for a family reunion party and they are sweating as they are doing their hair and makeup. Very disappointed and we couldnt have been happier to leave. Waste of my money :(

Property Manager Response:
We appreciate this guests response and feedback to their recent stay with us. It is obvious they didn't have an enjoyable experience, which is what Utah Vacation Homes strives for with each guest stay. We have reviewed this situation and are working towards better procedures to deal with abnormal weather conditions to ensure our guests comfort.

After receiving this review we spoke with the guest and received the below email:

"Tristan- just wanted to say thank you for your help! I really appreciate you taking concern in the matter and providing a credit. I guess I have become accustomed to living in New York where customer service is not a priority and your help today proved that there are still good people in this world who strive to provide great service. Thanks and have a great weekend!"

Great ski condo - perfect location!
moxie990 from San Diego,
Stayed for 0 days in March, 2012
The location of this condo literally couldn't be better. You're less than 25min from Brighton, Solitude, Alta, and Snowbird and getting over to Park City doesn't take too long either (Big & Little Cottonwood Canyon roads are closed during winter, so you have to go north and around the mountains). The condo isn't exactly "luxurious" but it more than fits the needs for a ski vacation. When I say that it isn't luxurious I'm referring to very small deatails: the tv's in the house are from around 1997, not high-end appliances in the kitchen, etc. All of these things didn't even matter to us. The TV was turned on all of three times our entire vacation. Let's face it, if you're renting this condo, you're here for the skiing and it couldn't be better for that use. Everything was great for a group too. We had 8 people and never felt cramped in the house. Hot tub was awesome to have after a day on the slopes. We did have a couple of issues with the hot tub, but they were always taken care of very quickly, so we appreciated that! One thing that I would have liked to have known before going is the layout of the house. There is three bedrooms upstairs including the master with it's own bathroom and two other rooms that share a full bath (which is fully carpeted ... odd to have in a bathroom, but whatever). The main floor consists of the living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast table area, a half bath, and the garage. The downstairs has the family room, the bunk bed room (one full, three twin beds), and a full bathroom. There is also a storage room or sorts downstairs that had the foosball table stored in it. The garage has a ski rack in it which was immensely helpful and kept all of the wetness out of the house. House was very well stocked with wood for the fireplace too so that was a really nice bonus!! Overall, this was about as good as it gets for location and need. It's as close as you can put yourself to the 4 resorts on the SLC side without actually renting one of the houses / cabins directly on Big or Little Cottonwood Roads on your way to the resorts. Unless your plan is to watch movies all week, then you won't be disappointed with this condo!!!

Hot Tub was awesome after a Day on the Slopes
SkiAndSpa from Sacramento, CA,
Stayed for 0 days in February, 2011
This is a beautiful house with plenty of room for a large group. We had 9 adults in our group and there was plenty of room for everybody. The home was very clean and had everything that you need; laundry, fireplace with wood, hot tub, cooking utensils, etc. During our week long stay the hot tub was cleaned and filled multiple times, which was essential since we used it each night. The only complaint I had was with the water pressure in the showers. You would be better off taking a bath while you stay at the house, because the water basically drips out of the pipes. Hopefully the home owners will change the shower heads to improve the flow. All and all it was a great trip and we would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Salt Lake.

Average in all respects
snikvt from So Londonderry,
Stayed for 0 days in January, 2011
The hot water tank capacity did not match up to the number of beds. Also seemed "bare bones"- cupboards were empty besides dishes, minimal linens and soap. The master bath was a lesson in how not to build a bathroom. Not too far from slopes or restaraunts, but not walking distance. Clean and quiet. Nice living room area.

Oaks at Watstach #4 Review
gongdownhill fastski group from Kalamazoo, MI,
Stayed for 0 days in February, 2010
A very nice condo. We appreciated the "little things" like extra paper towels, dish soap, small shampoos and bath soaps. The granite counter tops were very attractive. And the furnishings and beds were very nice. We would stay here again. The only minor suggestions we would make is that the driveway is steep and the garage won't hold a large car like a Suburban. Additionally, TV's in the extra bedrooms would be nice.

Nice Place

House was clean and adequate for a skiing vacation. We used the hot tub several evenings after skiing. The living area is a little cramped, but we had no issues since people were coming and going. I would stay there again vs. finding a new place.
