80 km west of Helsinki, Myllylampi pool 3 m (width 30 m, length 250 m), soft mud bottom, children’s shore hard and sanded; pool’s maximum depth is 4 m, water cool/cold, own boat. Log, board-faced previous miller’s home 1910, renovated 1999, living room/kitchen convertible sofa/bed, baking oven, living room, bedroom double bed, bedroom bed and bunk. Large porch (40 m2), half of it glazed, other half with summer kitchen. WLAN- internet connection. Cottage receives Canal Digital channel (payable).
Separate sauna building (35 m2), with dressing room, sauna (wood-burning stove and hot water cauldron). Lakeshore sauna with electric light and heatable swimming tub in yard.
In summer only an alternative option is a so-called "Lappish cabin" (60 m2), with room with fireplace and large living room (extra accommodation for 6 persons). At other end of this building a home gym/keep fit centre. Pleasant arrangement of several buildings on shore of its own pool (on river between Lakes Lahnajärvi and Kaiturijärvi), no neighbours nearby (nearest cottage 1 km away), own peace and quiet. Yard area large, grassed and light. Separate sauna building, jetty, and deep water on opposite side of pool. Fishing in pool is included in rent (owner will lend worm fishing rods, reel and lure rod, and ‘katiska’ fish trap). Crayfish have also been stocked in the pool. During crayfish season (late summer) crayfish fishing is also included in rent. There are trampoline for children, volleyball court and grill tepee on other side of pool on the plot.
Salo and Lohja 35 km, City of Turku’s many sights 90 km, Naantali (‘Kultaranta’ and Moomiworld) 100 km. Meri-Teijo recreation and ski centre 50 km, ‘Hyrsylän mutka’ (historical area connected with Karelia) 20 km, Paikkarin Torppa (“Paikkari Cottage”, Elias Lönnrot’s childhood home) 15 km.
