Whetstone is located on the West Shore of Flathead Lake in Rollins. This area has great bays and inlets near calm water. Great for watersports- even on a windy day.

Whetstone is a three level home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Master bedroom is located in the loft! This beautifully kept home is fully furnished, has two large flatscreen TV's, Dish TV, DVD, VHS & CD Stereo. At the lake, the dock is well protected. Enjoy fun in the sun from 100 feet of beautiful lake front!

Whetstone is a great jumping off point for trips over to Wild Horse Island. This 25 square mile, state owned Wild Life Refuge is open to the public during the daylight hours. On your hikes, take plenty of liquids and your camera- you might see deer, elk, big horn sheep, black bears and mayber even a wild horse!

Whetstone is within walking distance of three other homes managed by Montana's Best Vacation Homes. The total capacity of all four homes is 22 people. Those homes include, Snug Harbor and Hummingbird Haven.

Whetstone is located 10 minutes from Lakeside, 25 minutes to Kalispell, 25 minutes to Bigfork and one hour to Glacier National Park. Golf, fishing, horseback riding, watersports, shopping and sightseeing are all nearby.

It's in a beautiful area of the lake, we loved swimming off the dock and taking long walks along the road. We also enjoyed trips to M&S Meats for smoked elk jerky and wood fired pizza at the Tamarack in Lakeside. The house is very nice, and it was great to have a separate living room downstairs where my teens could relax. The front of the house is all windows, with a gorgeous view... the only downside we experienced was the house getting pretty warm inside since there are no shades on the front windows to mitigate the summer sun. The house was pefect for two couples, giving enough privacy to each. The lake is just across a quiet street right in front of the house. We spent a lot of our time down by the lake reading and enjoying the water. The only problem we had is that it was over 100 degrees and the house is not air conditioned.
