Underground springs and four different streams feed this crystal clear 2,030 acre body of water, which measures approximately 6.5 miles long and over a mile wide, with a maximum depth of 110 feet.
GULL LAKE has held a special attraction for people dating back well over 120 years. Many of the older homes still remain, the large island has several beautiful Victorian style examples.
Today, GULL LAKE offers many modern-day activities like pleasure boating, water skiing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sail-boarding, jet skiing etc. If more relaxed activities are your pleasure, then pontooning, canoeing, watching spectacular sunrises from the great view here at PHIL'S PLACE or taking in the colorful and serene weekly sailboat races, enjoying the many ducks and birds, or just basking in the sun might be for you. GULL LAKE is a great fishing lake with 55 species including: Bass, Pike, Bluegills, Perch, Crappie, Trout and Salmon. The southwest end of the lake has a sandbar 3' to 5' deep where many people gather in all sorts of watercraft to have fun, swim and socialize. A full service Marina is located at the southeast end of the lake as well as an Ice-cream Parlor that is accessible by boat. Across the road is Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort consisting of 5 Championship 18 hole Golf Courses."Lady Gull Diva", a large double deck boat is available for Party or Dinner Cruises.
