There was a plumbing leak that was never fixed and the BBQ was unusable. The linens were thread bare and the place had to be re cleaned. Not enough time given on the turn around. All maintenance staff that we encountered were polite and respectful. With closer attention to cleaning and maintenance this could be a wonderful place to stay. OK Only A guest from Edmonton, Alberta does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in December, 2012 Property advertisement indicates it is "private". It faces the street and garbage dumpster on one side and the sidewalks between the condo buildings on both the other sides. There is no privacy whatsoever and constant noise from traffic and people dumping their trash. There was a rat constantly running back and forth in front of the screen doors to the lanai so we never felt we could use the lanai. There were problems with ants -- we bought ant spray after leaving messages for the maintenance man that were never returned and then his voice mailbox was full. The bedding was of very poor quality -- the bedspreads were not clean. There was not sufficient furniture in the living room for people to sit and watch TV -- one couch not facing the TV and one chair. Comfy Condo at a Fair Price Karen W. from Mansfield, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in August, 2012 This condo has very nice furnishings and decor making for a comfortable stay. I was pleased to find a water filter on the kitchen faucet--no need to buy plastic water!!, plenty of beach towels, plus water toys in the lanai trunk. The condo does lack a good cross breeze, but an abundance of fans makes up for it--still a bit warm in late afternoon-evening. The LR ceiling fans are a bit tricky to operate and lighting in general is akward. The condo was not as private as I expected from the description, and does not front the golf course on any side. It faces the road with a thin screen of plants across the yard. There is no view at all, but a beach access via a trail is down the road beyond Sea Lodge. There is also a small pool. Kitchen well equipped, except it could use a colandar for pasta, and maybe a cheese grater. Overall very satisfied with this rental. Our Vacation Stay at Kamahana 3 Diane B. from Lancaster, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 19 days in July, 2012 We loved it! A nice large lanai to enjoy coffee and watch the rain! Nice to be on the first floor because we were often sandy and that way we would enter the back yard and hose off our bodies. Did not see any bugs--yeah! Had all the kitchen ware we needed and beds were comfy. Would definitely come back again! Stayed for 22 days in March, 2011 The place was very relaxing during the day but we had ongoing problems with the noise from the neighbors above us. They would not get home until 10-11pm every night and stayed up and were SO loud until 3-4am. Sounded like they were moving furniture and yelling, etc. It was hard to get a good nights sleep for most of our stay - even with earplugs in every night. We would like to come back and stay in kamahana 3, but not if the people above us are permanent residents.
