It was nice that every kind of cooking vessel and appliance we wanted was there and in good working order. The only negative in the entire thing was a burned out light bulb in one of the ceiling fans that had expired, and was of a type that we couldn't find to replace it. Everything else was awesome. We particularly like the Princeville region, so we will probably try and come back to the same facilities. The north shore location was great for hiking the NaPali Coast line and enjoying the north shore beaches. We would stay there again. Gorgeous view from the living room and bedroom windows. One thing I would add to the kitchen is a blender. Hawaii is such a perfect place for smoothies. Nice kitchen otherwise. I'd also suggest having fins and nicer beach chairs available for use as a nice perk to go with the condo. Lastly, a cozier couch in the living room would also be a plus. These are all of course things to make it even nicer. As it is, it's very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Alii Kai 2201 is the Best! Joseph B. from Los Angeles, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 You don't always need an ocean view. In fact, this lush mountain view was otherworldly with a gorgeous waterfall ta-boot. Watching the sunset behind the mountains was the perfect way to end each day out of the balcony with a glass of red. The birds joined us throughout the day, singing their beautiful tunes and Red was especially friendly. Other than the view, you shouldn't really be spending much time inside. It's Hawaii! But just so you know, the kitchen is great and has everything you need to make your dinners. The bedrooms are great. The bathrooms are great. And the place is well stocked with everything you might need. Including citronella candles - just light a couple of those outside so the squitters don't destroy you while your trying to watch the stars. Oh so many stars! There is NO King bed, just 2 Queen beds! For some people with physical issues, a king bed is NOT just a luxury - It is essential! If our party of 4 had not changed last minute to a party of 2, this unit would have presented a serious problem, necessitating finding another accommodation last minute. It was resolved by using both beds in 2 separate bedrooms for one couple. Most everything else about the unit was quite pleasant. It's just important to accurately represent the accommodations!
