2 br Praiano Villa

Villa Sara is an independent house of approximately 100 square meters (1075
square feet) which sleeps four persons, with a terrace of 35 square meters (375
square feet) with a splendid view of the sea. It is equipped with air
conditioning.

It is located in a residential area of Praiano, which is a well-known tourist
spot of the Amalfi Coast, situated at 150 meters (490 feet) above the sea level.
The house is approximately 1.2 km (0.8 miles) from the sea by car, and 700
meters (770 yards) on foot.

It has two bedrooms with a double bed, two bathrooms, a large living room, and a
kitchen. From the living room and the kitchen you will be able to enter the
large terrace.

Villa Sara is set into the high coast of Praiano, between the sky and the sea,
in the front row of the spellbinding landscape of the coast. When you are on its
terrace you will feel that it really is the place that you were looking for: in
front of you just the sea, the sky, and an incomparable view of Positano.

The air is clear and transparent, there are no noises, the incredible, luminous
colors of houses, yards, gardens make you cheerful: it is the magic of the "divina
costiera", the divine coastline, that magic that makes you happy to be alive and
to be right there, and that will make your holiday unforgettable.

And when the evening starts falling, you will discover the sunset on the sea,
when a golden light wraps everything and makes all the colors vivid, before it
fades into the night. You will be able to enjoy gentle evenings under the stars,
maybe dining outdoor.

You will reach the house descending a characteristic "scalinatella" (a
pedestrian alley with steps), that will take you through a few gardens and
vegetable garderns, perfumed with olive trees and lemon trees. You will be
surprised, step after step, from the view of the sky, of the sea and of the
vegetation that is disclosed in front of you. To reach Villa Sara there are 179 steps.

The house is white and luminous. It is part of a picturesque context, made of
small houses built following the profile of the rocky coast, according to the
local customs, and connected to each other by narrow stairways ("scalinatelle"),
that are the pedestrian alleys of the burg. It is approximately 50 meters (55
yards) from the road where cars are allowed.

The building has medieval origins, like the village of Praiano, but it has been
recently restored with great care. There are two large bedrooms with a double
bed, two bathrooms with shower, a roomy living room with a sofa, television, and
dining table, and a comfortable kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped with four-burner cooker, oven, refrigerator with
freezer, table and chairs.

In the living room and in the kitchen there are two high arched glass doors,
that will let you enter the terrace. Looking through them, you will be able to
enjoy the luminous view of the sea and of the sky from inside the house as well.
At night time you will be able to light the terrace to enjoy pleasant outdoor
evenings.

The furnishing is comfortable.

Shops are at 200 meters (220 yards) from the house, and they will home-deliver
upon request.

The closest beach is the charming beach of Marina di Praia, situated in a point
where a small valley dug by the erosion meets, among the high rocks, a sea of
the color of the emerald. In the summer time the beach is serviced by buses that
leave from the center of Praiano every 20 minutes.

From Villa Sara you will be able to take splendid hikes in front of a
breathtaking landscape, if climbing steps gives you no troubles. For example,
not to be missed is the following hike: walk to the beach, along a "scalinatella"
that will take you from the village to the Saracen tower by the sea, and from
there walk for 400 meters (440 yards) along a charming downhill pedestrian
alley, cut into the cliff sheer above the sea, that will take you to the beach.
Many people enjoy descending this way to the sea in the morning, and get back up
to the village by bus after their day at the beach.

If you would rather like to swim in a pool, in Praiano there is a nice public
swimming pool with a view of the sea.

If you like hiking, in the area you will find walks that are famous for their
extraordinary beauty, such as the "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.

Praiano is placed halfway between Positano (7 km, 4.5 miles) and Amalfi (8 km, 5
miles). You will be able to board ferries to the isle of Capri, Sorrento,
Naples, Salerno and the other tourist spots of the Amalfi and of the Sorrento
Coast in Amalfi and in Positano.

From Praiano you will be able to easily reach Paestum and Pompeii by bus.

You will be able to park your car along the road, close to the house.

Your stay at Villa Sara will let you enjoy a vacation in a natural environment
of splendid beauty, as well as quiet, elegant and relaxing. You will be able to
grab the most authentic charm of the Amalfi Coast, just out of the frantic
holiday life of the most crowded areas.

You will be able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast and the
characteristic fashion and artisans' shops, as well as attend the many cultural
and artistic happenings that take place throughout the year.

Those who like go out at night will find that the Amalfi Coast has a lot to
offer: from piano-bars to very exclusive night clubs.
