This unit boast an open dining area and livingroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook your catch of the day. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom two twins, both bedrooms have their own bath. This unit is beach front with one of the best views in the complex. There are community charcoal BBQ grills and a community pool. This unit is not pet friendly and smoking is permitted outside only. There is a short boardwalk to the beach through the center of the complex. Make this your vacation destination, it's just perfect! Mother's Day Get Away! A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 This was our first visit to Port Aransas and we will definitely be back! Beachhead was a fantastic place to stay! The only complaints I have are that the wifi never worked for us, there are no TVs in the bedrooms, and that the carpet in the bedrooms is old and stained and needs to be replaced. It was furnished nice and the four of us had a great time just relaxing. December is a slow time of year so never had to wait at a restaurant for dinner. We sadly watched the property decline as we continued to return to Port Aransas with our children & grandchildren. Last year we were thrilled to see it was finally getting needed attention! Our condo was lovely, the space worked well, & location was great. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was not cooling adequately to keep food cold enough & some spoiled. We ended up having to keep ice in an ice chest for milk, cheese, & lunchmeat. WIFI never worked as advertized & staff kept trying to blame the very early brief rain we had everytime we called for assistance. Booking & check in could not be easier - no hassle, no delay, easy to find. Condo clean and exactly as pictured on the Website. Walk to the beach literally 5 mins - very safe beach, no rip tides and sandy all the way. Local area has plenty of good places to eat. We choose not to do any activities (trips etc) as the kids were so content on the beach. Ease to and from beach meant we could come and go during the day (leaving the chairs etc on the beach), which allowed us to get the kids out of the sun for a while and grab a beer before heading down for sunset and a night walk. In summary our very active kids loved the beach and the sea, and we relaxed more than ever because in terms of parenting this is easy money - loved it! Wish we'd gone to Florida A guest from Bedford, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2011 Port Aransas is a horrible little fishing village. The beach is dirty brown sand packed down and hard. It is covered with rotting seaweed, jelly fish, broken glass and other trash. The view from the condo is dried brush as far as you can see. No ocean in sight. The locals are rude and apparently not interested in tourist dollars. The police were oppressive to the point that people were referring to the island as a concentration camp.I've been to Destin several times and it is well worth the extra few hour drive. Florida's white, soft sand and blue water are amazing. I'll never go back to Port Aransas. It was close enough to the beach that we didn't have to drive - we were able to carry our chairs, canopy and cooler down the boardwalk to the beach. The balcony was very nice - we had a picnic lunch out there and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. I would definitely stay here again, and I would definitely recommend it to anybody! We stayed at Beach Head 503BH. This condo is very nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. It appears to have recently been painted and the flooring and carpets look new. For a family or two couples, it is ideal. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms convenient and well-designed. The condo has a queen size bed in the master bedroom and two twins in the second bedroom. There is an airbed for additional guests and a couch (not a hide-a-bed!). The parking spoace is close to the unit and very wide. This unit is on the second floor and has a balcony which is great for enjoying the view of the ocean. Highly recommended.
