Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 We were very disappointed in our accommodations and in the lack of information provided us concerning where we should check-in and by what time. Some of unit #27 was clean(living room and bathroom), but the kitchen was filthy. All the dishes had to be washed before we could use them(they had a dirty film on them and/or were coated with dried food). The coffee maker had dried coffee grounds in the filter basket. When we first entered the unit, there was a very stale and putrid odor. All of the kitchen drawers had roaches in them, mostly dead but a few live ones. Overall, our stay at Sea Isle was the first bad stay there since we started coming there as a family since 1978. Sea Isle review for Labor Day 2012 Steven R. from San Antonio, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 My wife and friends have been staying at the Sea Isle since 1992. At least 2-3 times per year and very happy. Since they have discontinued the maid service, we will not be staying there anymore. It's very inconvenient to be on vacation and have to do coin wash and dry or bring so many towels/linen. We always looked forward to the happy maid in the morning catering to our towels and needs. If you bring maid service back in, I would appreciate a call at. Otherwise you have lost us. Thank-you! Always a great stay A guest from Pleasanton, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2012 I have this complaint. Checking at 4pm is just not good. If you take a day off, then the day is gone before you can get checked in. And going to the beach or shopping is not the answer. You can not drag around a car load of "things" much less a boat. So I believe this needs to be changed. Hotel check in is 2pm so hire more help. And check out is 11am so your are paying for less than 24hrs. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 We decided to rent a condo instead of hotel room this stay...disappointing..the condo smelled of mold and cigarettes...coffee carafe was broken..killed a water bug in room..(no biggie there, this is South Texas) but then there were roaches climbing up the walls..disgusting...we didn`t spend much time in room..won`t stay at this condo again...also, we were suppose to have a patio that over looked the pool..but didn`t get it..that condo was next door..basically the place was a dump..pix on internet are misleading.. Sea Isle Village great except for room #27 A guest from Helotes, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2012 We love the Sea Isle Village, we've stayed in other units. Unit #27 wasn't like the others, it smelled old and dusty, had old furniture and the beds were uncomfortable. DO stay at the Sea Isle Village, DON'T stay in unit #27.
