Excellent location, great for kids A guest from Girdwood, AK recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 This condo is in a fantastic location. Close walk to the beach with three kids (8yrs, 5yrs, and 2yrs) and the grassy area out front provided entertainment for the kids and allowed us to sit on the lanai and relax while keeping an eye on them. An outdoor shower would be a huge enhancement - or at least a short hose to hook up to the outside faucet. Would keep more of the sand off the floor and out of the tub. The close proximity to the pool was also great for the kids. The master bedroom was very comfortable, although was quite warm. We kept those ceiling fans working overtime! On our last morning, we did spot one very large cockroach, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed - I was just glad we found it on our last morning! Might not have slept as well had it been earlier :) We loved all the toys that came with the place - the paddle board was awesome (although the paddle seems a bit short), and the boogie boards, sand toys, and other water toys were so much fun. We also utilized the cooler on many a beach trip - thank you! Overall, this was a wonderful place and we would stay here again! Stayed for 10 days in April, 2013 My only suggestion for improvement is that the condo could use some updating inside, bathrooms/bedrooms especially, the floors, shower in the master bathroom, pictures on walls, bedding, furniture in living room. The location is great, the condo bbq's in great shape and close by, the pool close by and very clean and nice. Kitchen very adequate and nice. Overall very clean, many windows so bright and light. Great location, place needs some updating A guest from Talent, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2013 The condo in a great location and was well stocked with items such as snorkel gear, towels, beach toys, other toys for kids, etc... which was great for our 3 year old. The short walk to the beach and tennis courts was awesome. There were only a few minor things that could use some attention such as: one of the toilets didn't flush properly; one side of the toaster did not work; and the dishwasher soap tray was broken.Other than those minor items, everything else was great. The one thing everyone says when it comes to property is Location, Location, Location. This has them all...morning coffee on the lanai, walks down to the beach (Brennecke's Beach) to see the turtles, watch the sunset and just relax! You can sit on the lanai and watch the sunset every night...just a fantastic place to relax and recharge your batteries. The ladies at Poipu 365 are great to work with as well. Nice location, subpar accomedations A guest from Daly City, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2012 When we arrived at checkin, the unit was not cleaned. Apparently the cleaning lady didn't know we were arriving that day. I called the property manager who had the unit cleaned right away. However, even after cleaning, the place was dirty in the corners. Furniture and cabinets were old and outdated. No shampoo provided, which was surprising. Property grounds were gorgeous and the location was convenient. Beaches were walkable but rocky. It was a perfect location very close to the best beaches. Our 9 month old had a blast playing with all the condos beach toys and crawling around on the well manicured greenbelt right off the lanai. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2012 Location was great, the ocean view was better than I expected.The grounds are well maintained. The unit was nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything I needed. The hall bathroom tub water could not be turned on and the toilet had a leak so it "ran' most of the time. The tub was promptly fixed when I called. The toilet did not flush well and continued to run intermittently. I only mention the toilet since it is a waste of water. The unit could use some TLC. I wanted to drop the blinds in the smaller bedroom and there was so much dust that I left them up.On the whole, however, I was happy with my choice to stay where I did. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2012 The condo was not ready on check in time, the sheets felt old and dirty, the master bed was hard,uncomfrortable and the sheets were old and nubby, mold was in both baths,no napkins, plastic baggies and was not like the pictures. Very disappointing..not to mention management company not friendly or professionall. Ask me to put my sheets in for a load to help cleaning people even after a 500.00 dollar deposit. I trust trip advisor and use them for restaurants and hotels at home and while travelling, so I gave it a shot. Before signing a contract on this property, the manager answered several questions either by email or phone. Everything I wanted to know was answered. The rental process and check in was a breeze as was check out. This property was perfect for my needs. Bathrooms a little dated, but large and two full baths for two bedrooms. The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the resort green space and the ocean. Easy walk to a great beach/ beaches, restaurants, walking trail, and other resorts. Also included were beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, beach umbrella. It was so nice to have everything right there. I would rent this unit again if I had the opportunity to go back to Poipu. Vicki Agor is highly recommended as a property manager.
