Idyllic stay in Poipu Mary P. from Lake Forest Park, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 We absolutely loved staying in unit 50 at Poipu Kapili. It was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, beautifully furnished, wonderful view on the lanai and a very quiet location. We loved walking across the street to the rock wall to enjoy the sunset with others in the vicinity. Loved taking morning walks through the local neighborhood, hearing the birds throughout the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were well-kept and beautiful and the pool was clean and refreshing. It was an ideal place to stay and we hope to return to enjoy it again. Accomodations very, very comfortable. Condos are positioned with views in mind - breath-taking! We could either walk 200 ft to the Oceanside OR sit on our linia to watch the sunsets. Only compliant: grilling only allowed after 6pm - Which forced us to bake/fry our fresh fish or hamburger - which we didnt quite understand. Although you seem to be set away from the crowd, the action is not too far away. We'd defintely return! Mohola! Perfect location right on sea wall where we watched each spectacular sunset. A new shopping area with several great restaurants is within walking distance, but the kitchen was well appointed and farmers markets close by made it easy to cook in as well. The only thing we would have changed is that the pool was too cold and they need a hot tub. The condos are located on a lovely property which has pleasant grounds and a relaxing pool. Across the road it is possible to see turtles feeding near the rocks. Many beautiful sunsets. Snorkelling at Poipu Beach Park is only a few minutes drive away and the condos are within walking distance of a few places to eat. A good place to stay if you like a quiet atmosphere. Poipu Kapili #50 - Definitely a place to return to! A guest from Sequim, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2012 This was our 1st trip to Kauai, and we'll surely return. When we do, we'll almost certainly choose Poipu Kapili again. These condos are lovely, well-maintained, roomy, and have beautiful views of the ocean and the pool/garden area. We stayed in #50, a 1-bedroom on the 2nd floor, and we were very happy with it. But we asked to tour some others on our last day, and the friendly office staff showed us a half-dozen. Some have AC units in the bedrooms, some have a washer/dryer (#50 did not), some are more extravagantly-furnished than others. All the ones we looked at had newer flat-screen TVs. Best to discuss these details with the office staff during the booking process. They are extremely friendly and helpful! When we return, we'll go for #23 or #47 if they are available.
