Fresh off a flight over the Pacific, you step into condo #33 and the dramatic view engulfs you. Ahh..Hawaii. Feel the breeze, feel the gentle ehu kai (salt air), smell the fresh plumeria blossoms.

The cool, clean tile flooring, new granite countertops and new kitchen appliances only enhance the ambiance. Everything from the tropical furnishings to the amazing views tell you the choice you made was perfect. With 1150 square feet of space, a well-equipped kitchen, dining for 6 and plenty of seating in the living room make it an excellent choice for couples wishing to entertain.

The tropical breezes are refreshing and lovely but there are times you'll enjoy the air conditioning in the bedroom. The condo is superbly equipped with free wi-fi, great electronics, safe and a washer/dryer. Enjoy all the comforts of home with none of the cares.

Stayed in unit 33 for 10 days in April 2013. Pictures on website were accurate. Unit is in great shape and owner continues to upgrade. View of ocean from lanai was better than expected and could hear ocean from unit. Liked first floor experience and thought unit an complex was quiet and private. Would highly recommend this unit and the entire complex if you are looking for small, convenient and quiet. Very helpful, friendly staff!

Very nice grounds and location can't be beat. Saw whales "from afar" from inside the condo. Only negative was that our rental car was broken into and vandalized during the night (parked at the condo).

We stayed in Poipu Kapili condo #33 and it was absolutely incredible! We thought the photos made it look amazing but it far exceeded expectations and the photos don't do it justice! The interior decor is just gorgeous, all wood and so inviting and 'homely'. The location is superb and the views are perfect. Sitting out on the lanai with a glass of wine watching the sunset was just heaven!

We found Poipu Kapili in a Hawaii guidebook and we can see why it topped their list of accommodations in Poipu: great location with tremendous views, lovely grounds and pool, roomy and nicely decorated condos with everything our family of 4 needed. It was topped off with cheerful, attentive staff who helped with restaurant suggestions, zipline booking and excursion ideas. We highly recommend this property in beautiful Poipu!

You Can't Go Wrong By Staying At Poipu Kapili. #33 IS Very Nice.

Since 1982 I've been privileged to stay numerous times at Poipu Kapili. I'm familiar with Units #4,#5,#6,#12,#24,#26 and #33. All of these units are in tip top condition. They've always been nice, and over the years, many owners have spent a lot of money remodling & refurnishing their units to make them very posh. I particularly like #33 because it's not overly redone and has maintained the original Hawaiian character of the place. #5,#12 & #26 are exceedingly "poshed-up";but I prefer the simplicity of #33 and total taste of decor of #6. By far the best views and lanis are to be had at units #1 through #12 (high ground and directly ocean front). I don't recall their unit number; but Mr. & Mrs. Cowan's 2nd floor 1 bedroom unit is worth requesting. I'm biased in favor of #6 because my family owns it, and has so for 30 years. It's been lovingly very much improved since 1982; but refreshingly not cluttered with extraneous appointments and too many objet d' arts like so many of the units. We've just improved upon what was originally there without making it look like something in Palm Beach. #6 features also: a bookcase of fine literature (including The Joy Of Cooking -ha -ha). Poipu Kapili is a gorgeous complex and the grounds superb. I'd be happy there just pitching a tent on it's beautiful ocean front lawn if they'd let me. The golden sands of Poipu beach are just a couple 100 yard's walk away - the most beautiful and friendly beach I've ever known. Don't miss it!
