Resort: 1'136 m a.s.l. >>Small village with 272 inhabitants in the north-eastern part, situated at the foot of a mountain, on a slope, 120 km north from Barcelona. In the resort: grocers, bakers. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Girona (GRO) 100 km, Barcelona (BCN) 120 km. Situated in the Vall de Ribes, in Ripolles and occupies the middle part of the River Rigard valley. Its centre is situated across the "Collada de Tosses" and the Transpyrenees train which links Barcelona with Puigerda. Recommended trips: Vall de Nuria, Coll de les Barraques-Font Freda, Ventola, Dorria and the Rigard river, where you can enjoy trout fishing. The town also has an excellent municipal swimming pool.
