The only drawback is it is hard to find the first time you go there. After that it is easy to get around. The location is fine, not too far off Little Pigeon River. Also not too far from all the things that the area has to offer. We would stay there again. I will bring a few of my pans from home for cooking. The pans there are not conducive to cooking on the glass top range. They are not level, the fry pans, that is. All in all a good experience. Great Company to Rent With Dianne L. from Meridianville, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2012 Numerous times before we had used another rental agency in Pigeon Forge area. Found American Mountain Rentals on the internet. Realized they rented in the same area we loved. The rate was great, the place was wonderful. It was clean and bright, had everything you would need for a nice stay. A couple of things that we noticed right off, the place was well decorated but not to the extent that some are with items that just collect dust. Secondly, the beds were very comfortable. No saggy mattresses. We definitely plan to use AMR again. The one time we had a problem management was quick to respond and fix it, they were wonderful. But I was so disqusted with the bathroom rugs that I washed them myself as soon as we arrived. They were so dirty I wouldn't have my dog use them. No more than the cleaning service is doing (as we did almost everyting for them, per the list on the frig.)they could at least make sure the bathrugs are clean. The front door lock was not always easy to open seemed to get stuck at times. There were also not near enough washcloths in the house. If these items were addressed and fixed it would be great. There wasn't any linen for the sleeper sofa. Due to our arrival and unpacking, the main office was close to request additional linen. I had to purchase additional linen to accomodate the family member sleeping on the sofa. Location was good. The directions on the brocure to the location is difficult. It was easier to pass the hotels, around the sharp right, and three streets on the left is the turn to the property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2010 We enjoyed our stay, however there are a couple of things that could be addressed. 1st the directions, the road names are incorrect from the start, almost every name was incorrect. 2nd the pull out couch was awful! The mattress had definately seen better days and there were no linens for the pull out or the additional pillows that were available. If it had been an adult sleeping on the pull out instead of a child they would have had serious pain if they could sleep at all.We enjoyed our stay and it was convient to where we wanted to go. The home was clean and spacious.The staff were friendly and good to work with, the paperwork was ready when we arrived so we were able to complete that portion quickly. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2010 This was our 1st vacation as a family, I was on the internet for 6-8 hours a night for a week trying to find the perfect cabin for our girls vacation experience. I found the Momma Bear cabin, it was perfect, the girls were very excited to stay in a cabin. We got there, checked in, found that the cabin was 10 miles out of town, then it was infested with hornets/wasps-we could not stay there. We went back to the office, was immediately given a Chalet, closer to town and more then we had expected. My family had a wonderful time and a great experience in Pigeon Forge, with the help of American Mountain Rentals. We have considered coming back and will again use American Mountain Rentals as our lodging, I have also send recommendations to friends and family. We loved the Chalet and appreciate your help in making what could have been a horrible experience into a wonderful and memorable vacation for us. We look forward to speaking to you again.
