Resort: Perranporth is situated on the beautiful west coast of Cornwall approximately 11 km south of Newquay, approximately 16 km from Redruth, approximately 45 km from St Ives and approximately 64 km from Lands End. Set in a bay of beautiful yellow sand. There is much to do and see in Perranporth, apart from a choice of pubs, shops and restaurants, you can visit museums or play a round of golf. Swimming pool (available at Newquay, Carn Brea and Falmouth), fishing lake (tackle can be hired by the day), boat trips, gliding, you can get an aerial view of Perranporth on a spectacular flight from the airfield. Horse riding, tennis (grass and hard courts), there is also a bridwatching hide in Nansmellyn Marsh (a nature reserve) you simply borrow the keys from the Information Centre and watch the birds on your own. Small resort directly by the sea, 89 km east from Plymouth, 12 km north-east from Newquay. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.
