Ylä-Tyrjäjärvi is a border lake and a border zone permit (free of charge) is required for rowing on it; permit will be arranged in advance at cottage. When booking, customers must notify names and dates of birth of holidaymakers to Lomarengas in advance.

Around cottage is sloping plot with forest, with steps down to shore. Peaceful situation. Good crayfish and fishing waters.
