Our holiday apartment „Marga“ is situated in the center of Papenburg’s district Obenende. It finds itself in an absolutely quiet residential area at the end of a blind alley so there’s no annoying traffic noise. The apartment is self-contained and has its own entrance, although it’s on the first floor of the house we live in, too. It has a floor space of about 60 sq.m. All the rooms are light and amicable and its big kitchen is functionally equipped., key advantages: central but quiet location, clean, bright and friendly, 1 living/family room, , fully equipped kitchen, has a breakfast nook, upgraded interiors, clean, well furnished, very comfortable, makes you feel at home, bright and inviting, The unit is conveniently located directly in the center and downtown area of Papenburg, Walking distance into downtown Papenburg is only 5 minutes, There is parking in front of the house available for this object, There is also additional street parking available for this object,

Our non-smoking vacation apartment is designed for a maximum of two occupants. During your stay, you can use two or three bicycles provided by us for free. Internet access is possible for a fee.
If you plan on bringing your pet, it is possible under the following conditions: the pet has to be properly trained, should not have a shoulder height above 45 cm and there has to be insurance for it, in case of any damages (prior arrangement absolutely required). As the apartment needs to be cleaned more thoroughly after a pet was there, there is an additional charge of EUR 20 for the cleaning.
An interesting combination: make two of one:
Should you be coming as a pair e.g. working in Papenburg for a longer time, it is quite easy to transform the existing living room and bedroom into two combined living/bed rooms. This way, everyone has their own personal space, including with his/her own cable TV and (if requested) also with separate internet access. Kitchen and bathroom must be shared.

Well-stocked supermarkets such as Combi, Aldi and Lidl can be reached on foot in a few minutes. There are also several (Italian, Turkish, German, Chinese) good restaurants and fast-food restaurants in the vicinity.
The Catholic church St. Michael is, as the crow flies, just 400 m from the apartment, the protestant Savior’s Church some 1.6 km. The Meyer shipyard of Papenburg is 6.2 km away.
How to Get Here by Car:
- coming from the South (from intersection Bottrop A31 to exit Papenburg):
Driving on the – finally finished – autobahn A31 is probably the most sensible approach for the majority of people. Go to exit Papenburg and then drive towards Papenburg itself (K158, Rheiderlandstrasse). After a few kilometer and the crossing of the Ems river, you will pass by the Meyer shipyard. Continue for about 8 km to a traffic light, where the road does not continue straight ahead. Make a left turn into the Obenende center. After the roundabout, after some 400 m, turn right onto “Erste Wiek li.”. After another 200 m, turn right into our neighborhood. Vacation apartment Marga is located in the Schonerstrasse 38, the last house in the cul-de-sac.
Drivers coming from Osnabrück can also take the route via Fürstenau, Haselünne, Sögel and Börger. In Surwold, in the Börgermoor part of town (intersection with traffic light), cross the coastal channel (Küstenkanal). After almost exactly 10 km, you’ll get to the roundabout and continue as described above.
- coming from the East (Hamburg/Bremen):
In this case, too, taking the autobahn is often the best choice: autobahn triangle Bremer Kreuz, exit Delmenhorst-Ost, A 28, past Oldenburg and Leer, A 31 to exit Papenburg and continuing as described above.
Those wanting to take the shortest route possible can also take the B401 from Oldenburg, along the coastal channel (Küstenkanal). In Surwold, in the Börgermoor part of town (intersection with traffic light), turn right towards Papenburg. After almost exactly 10 km, you’ll get to the roundabout and continue as described above.

From Amsterdam, take A7 past Groningen to intersection Bunde, then A31 to exit Papenburg (from there, as when coming from the South).
