If family vacation is what you?re looking for, if keeping the kids occupied is what you?re looking for, if getting wet is what you?re looking for, then SPLASH is what you?re looking for. This awesome resort opened in 2007 and it filled up right away. Why? Because it was perfect for what Panama City Beach is all about ? families.
Here?s the scoop on your Splash vacation condo.
Man is this place big! It isn?t just big, it?s bea-u-ti-ful. It?s got really interesting décor. It?s beachy cool. It really makes the most of the room in every room. There?s plenty of space for all your beach stuff, but that?s not why you?ll pick this condo. It?s got great views. Plain and simple.
The LIVING ROOM sofa opens up as a queen sleeper. The entertainment center, which is entertaining just to look at it has a big TV, looks like a 35? and don?t forge the DVD player lets you play movies when you?re beached out. Or, surf the net with the high speed connection. But, I gotta tell you, the views are gonna make all that pretty tough. You?re eyes will wonder to the beach every time. You?ll like the balcony, too. It?s really comfortable. And the views, The views.
The MASTER BEDROOM got a huge king size bed with a with a beautiful Caribbean carved headboard. Kind of tropical. And the bed?s really comfortable. I laid down on it to see how it felt. Almost went to sleep. Really makes a statement. It?s really spacious. There?s another pretty big TV and a DVD player.
The 2nd MASTER is just as big with great views and a comfy KING! The 3rd BEDROOM as well with a roomy queen!
The KITCHEN?s open and has everything that you need, so no matter whether you?re cooking your specialty or just fixing grilled cheese sandwiches you?ve got everything you need to please the family. There?s a big kitchen bar with four bar chairs so you can grab a quick bit before you hit the beach.
The DINING AREA has a big table, really comfortable so everyone?s got a seat at the table. No kid?s table here.
The LAUNDRY area?s located to make keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.
These bedrooms and the pull out sleeper sofa in the living room making sleeping room for 8 with 3 complete full baths.
Hey, this condo is a big beautiful place at the beach. And it?s priced right too. You can?t go wrong at Splash. It?s got everything you want in a beach condo and it?s going to book up quick for the summer. But let me tell out about the beach. The Splash beachfront is bigger than a football field wide and it?s all sugar white sand beach that graduates to the most beautiful emerald color water that you?ll find anywhere. So just come on down and stretch out in the sun or take a dip in the Gulf. Here you can relax while the kids dive into big fun! There?s other neat little special things for you too. There?s concierge-style services, complimentary newspapers and a fun variety of activities. These guys give you all the little things that make you say ? WOW, what a vacation. There?s so much around that you probably won?t want to leave the property, but I gotta tell you about one other thing.

The room was very clean when we arrived. The only thing we were not satisfied with is the fact that you can not smoke on the balconies but the smoking areas were right at every entrance or exit. We didn't mind going down to smoke but it would be nice if you could move the smoking areas away from the doors. Very clean and with amazing views of the Gulf and perfect sunsets. Plan on waiting for carts to unload and the elevators were a little slow, but then again it was a Spring Break week. Water in the lazy river and children's water park was so cold the kids didn't want any part of it. It was a shame they didn't heat it for them as they were a major part of why we picked this condo. Condo was great! Clean and spacious for 7 people. Kitchen had almost all of what we needed. For us a crock pot and cheese slicer would have made it perfect. Pillows were thin so you might want to take a few of your own if possible. Over all we would recommend this condo 100%. Great vacation place. A guest from Delano, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2012 Accomadatiions were great. Mid October was a little cool to enjoy l the water play areas. Only complaint; we had 5 Adlults and only one room key! We were told we would be charged for additional keys. Two would have been great. Splash weekend A guest from Chattanooga, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 The only issues really was the elevators. There are only 2 for 21 floors. So when everyone is trying to check out at the same time you spend 30-45 min waiting on an elevator. The Condo was wonderful and the kids waterpark was great. It was very frustrating to have to search the entire 2 bldg resort to not find one cart to use. Review of Splash Condo 1701W A guest from Dunwoody, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2010 This condo was extremely dirty when we arrived. The carpet was disgusting and had food particles and food smeared on it. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly. The vacuum and the coffee maker did not work. One of the patio doors would not lock which is a safety hazard with small children. The property manager did respond right away and had the carpets cleaned but several of the other items were never addressed. I would not rent from Best Beach Getaways again. Our vacation ended up to be sucessful, however the stress and worry of the oil spill and the rules of the cancelation policy with Best Beach Rental made the vacation a have to not a want to. Other rental agency's were much more customer focused and allowed cancelation for any reason due to the oil scare.
