The first thing you?ll notice when you walk into your residence is the large entryway with all the space you need to park your clubs, flip-flops and beach toys. This Calypso resort residence?s West Indies style décor provides the perfect backdrop for the breathtaking views of the Gulf you?ll see through the sliding glass doors that open to an expansive balcony where you can take in the panoramic views of the most beautiful beaches you?ll find anywhere. The afternoon sun and breathtaking sunsets are the perfect end to an exciting day - - - or the beginning of an enchanting evening.

The LIVING ROOM is a gathering place for everyone that features a comfortable sofa that opens into a queen sleeper. The room is well lit with decorator lamps. The entertainment armoire contains an oversize television that is equipped with a remote that can switch channels from anywhere in the room, a DVD that allows you to play your favorite movies. Or if you like, surf the web on the high speed internet that?s available. If you want to truly enjoy the beach experience wonder out to the balcony through your floor to ceiling sliding doors enjoy the sugar white sand beaches and emerald green Gulf waters.

The MASTER BEDROOM features luxurious king size bed and private bath. The room is cheerfully decorated for your relaxation and enjoyment. There?s plenty of space to store your beachwear in the spacious walk-in closets. Your entertainment armoire offers a large TV with dozens of clear channels, you may want to pop in your favorite movie into the DVD. You even have high speed internet access that?s easily accessed from the MASTER BEDROOM. You?ll also enjoy the tiled bath with shower and garden tub where you might can relax and reenergize after a day full of beach activities.

The GUEST SUITE is equally well appointed with a comfortable Queen size bed and plenty of space for everything you?ve brought to the beach. This large bedroom is a great hideaway because it not only offers a place to catch up on your favorite book, it also offers cable television. And you can log on to high speed internet from this room as well. This bedroom has an adjacent oversize bath with garden tub and shower. It?s tiled so that cleaning up is easy.
The THIRD BEDROOM features a comfortable Full Bed and is a kid friendly suite that allows plenty of room for sleeping and playing.
The open gourmet KITCHEN area looks out over the water and features beautiful granite counter tops with attractive cabinets and appliances. It?s fully stocked so no matter whether you?re cooking your specialty or just fixing grill cheese sandwiches you?ve got everything you need to please the family. Wraparound bar seats four making it easy for everyone to grab a quick snack or a full meal.

The DINING AREA comfortably seats six, so the family can share meals and trade their favorite part of their days at the beach.

The LAUNDRY makes keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.

These bedrooms along with a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room allow the unit to sleep 6 comfortably including 2 complete baths.

Location was everything...close to nightlife...kid friendly! Lisa S. from Colgate, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Said we had 2 chairs on beach with unit when I rented...found out this wasn't true. Place needs new cooking utensils (pots and pans were in bad condition). More towels for showering would have helped-much washing to do on vacation. Would be nice to have grills on property for dinners in. Friends we were with hoped for a hot tub (for the cool nights and sore muscles). Would also have been nice to have small dish soap and soft soap in kitchen and bathrooms to start with. Great location next to Pier park and pier for fishing. Kids had plenty of things to do being so close to entertainment site (Pier Park) and adults had Tootsies (great bands and great fun). Many good eating establishments close by as well. Only problem was elevators weren't working a couple of the days and we had to walk to and from the 20th floor-not good!!! Best Beach Get Away and the Calypso staff were very helpful any question or request was responded to very promptly. This was our third year at the Calypso and with Best Beach, the unit was the best supplied unit we have ever had. Looking forward to 2014 in Unit 2008W, we are scheduled for a little longer stay stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Good Rooms but DIRTY Beach Reviewed by: Bryan W. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 The room was great. The pool was a bit dirty and the beaches needed cleaned. The people selling the umbrella chairs sucked. They let people take our chairs, and they rarely put the cushions and umbrella out. I think they were stoned and I know they were lazy. Looking for a cleaning service A guest from Heathrow, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2010 The condo was very dirty and in terrible condition. Our bed sheets had not been changed from the prior guests, we found food on the floor that looked like it had been there for weeks if not longer. The floors were dirty, you could see touch up paint all over the walls, just not in good condition. The furniture was oversized and did not fit the condo leaving very little room to move around in the living room, dining room and second bed room. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2010 The first unit we were in (1204E) had sand in the bed, the bedding was not comfortable, the toilets ran constantly and the tv remotes didn't work. We moved to unit 2008W which was like moving to the Ritz. It was very pleasantly decorated, and the bed was better than ours at home. The only problem we had with this unit was the door lock. Since we didn't rent through the on-site property managers our communication was with the staff at BBG. The Calypso's location made it the perfect getaway for a cold Valentine's Weekend. Walk on the beach...walk to the pier...walk to Pier Park and the many fine restaurants. The condo was lovely with awesome views, and it was a great place to come back to after a pleasant walk.
