All kinds of restaurants. Panera Bread for a quick bite, Longhorn Steakhouse & Outback. And get this: there?s a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville, you know, it?s 5 o?clock somewhere. And, if you want a Café American Double Shot Vente it?s got a Starbucks. Can you imagine? Starbucks in flip flops. Oh, and during the summer there?s going to be free concerts for the whole family. How cool is that?!?
If you?re coming down for a kid sports tournament, you?re pretty close to the Robert Brown Park, where they host a lot of them.

Man this place is something else! Check out the photographs of the décor. It?s got a very distinctive upscale look at feel. Not sandy beachy, but upscale beachy. It really makes the most of the room in every room. There?s plenty of space for all your beach stuff, but that?s not why you?ll pick this condo. It?s got great views. Plain and simple.
The LIVING ROOM sofa is big and comfortable. The entertainment center, which has a big TV, looks like a 35?. The DVD player lets you play movies when you?re beached out. Or, surf the net with the high speed connection. But, I gotta tell you, the views are gonna make all that pretty tough. You?re eyes will wonder to the beach every time. You?ll like the balcony, too. It?s really comfortable. And the views, the views ...
Check out the MASTER BEDROOM. Huge king size bed with a with a beautiful Caribbean carved headboard. Look at the wall colors. What a great space. And the bed?s really comfortable. I laid down on it to see how it felt. Almost went to sleep. Really makes a statement. It?s really spacious. There?s another pretty big TV.
There?s also a kid-friendly bunk room for sleeping and playing.
The KITCHEN?s a beauty with granite counter tops. It?s open and has everything that you need, so no matter whether you?re cooking your specialty or just fixing grilled cheese sandwiches you?ve got everything you need to please the family. There?s a big kitchen bar with four bar chairs so you can grab a quick bit before you hit the beach.
The DINING AREA has a big table, really comfortable so everyone?s got a seat at the table. No kid?s table here.
The LAUNDRY area is well located, so keeping everyone in clean clothes is a breeze.
These bedrooms and the pull out sleeper sofa in the living room, make sleeping room for six with two complete baths.

Bring your beach towels, beach chairs and shade from home. Expensive to rent. Great friendly area. Eat at Rusty"s. Great crab claws, oysters and cheap pitchers of beer. Also, don't forget Buddy's seafood market. Will steam your shrimp, bring it back to your Condo, eat with fingers on your balcony overlooking the Gulf. Just delicious. Killer Views of the Sunset and Ocean Robin P. from Carrollton, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2012 Overall the condo was nice. The furnishings were tasteful but the lounger needed cleaning. There were several areas that needed a deep clean including baseboards, tile grout. The balcony had areas of bird poop on the deck and furniture that obviously had not been attended to in quite sometime. The balcony furniture need either replacing or painting as the chairs were quite rusty. The sliding door was very difficult to open and the vertical blinds were not operational. We in fact managed to open them enough so we could go in and out the door but they were so fragile that we opted not to touch them in fear that they would break. The only other negative was the need for hot mitts and a cookie sheet in the kitchen. But with a little TLC this unit could be fantastic as the layout is great with the master bedroom over looking the beautiful ocean, as well as, it being very spacious. The bunk area was great in that they were located in a small room and not in the hallway as many of the units have. The bunk area also included a closet making the unit almost a two bedroom two bath. If I would have wanted to clean my condo I would have stayed home A guest from Shreveport, LA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 When we first arrived to Tidewater 809 we found the condo a MESS! The floors were filthy, haiballs all over the bathrooms, toilets that haven't been cleaned and to top it off, food was discovered in the master bedroom bed. It was obvious no one had cleaned our condo! I was very surprised to find the condo in this shape since we are returning customers of Best Beach Getaways and last year the Sterling Breeze condo was in wonderful shape. When you have to clean you condo upon arrival it takes some luster from the vacation. Also, when we arrived there were no parking or pool passes. We called Best Beach Getaways and a nice young lady brought some over right a way. when she saw the condition of our condo she was not surprised and said "our cleaning crew is known for doing a poor job and we have weekly meetings concerning this problem". It sounds to me that this is a recurring problem that Best Beach Getaways needs to resolve. Long story short, this was enough to make me realize that this was the last time my family will plan a vacation through Best Beach Getaways! Best Beach Getaways, you should be ashamed to allow anyone to enter one of your properties before you can inspect the condition and cleanliness!! The beach was great and the room was in good shape and clean. The staff was very helpful.The only two issues at this property during a busy time is that there are not enough elevators and the waits can be ridiculously long. The second issue is the only parking is in the garage across the street. If you have a luggage topper you only have about 15 or 20 spots. Once those are gone you either have to take the topper off or risk being towed in the ground parking. I wish the resort had outside parking available. We had to request a vacuum cleaner to be able to clean. It was delivered promptly thanks to Pam at BBG. The kitchen needs more utensils and a baking/cookie sheet, potato peeler, mixing bowls etc. would help. One dishcloth and dishtowel is not enough.
