This one of a kind 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath Santa Barbara style home comfortably sleeps 14-18 people and is ready for your arrival with high thread count linens and towels, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen & 5-star hotel quality amenities and extras.

Outdoors: Casa Santa Barbara has maximum privacy for outdoor entertaining, dining, lounging and swimming. Enjoy the large back patio area around the private, heated custom pool and spa accented with vivid spanish tiles. The yard is lush and colorful with landscaping of queen palms, ficus trees, bougainvillea, bird of paradise and manicured lawn areas. The large covered patio area off the great room has two dining tables with seating for 10 and 4 lounge chairs to soak up the sun, peaceful water feature and the beautiful mountain views that only Palm Springs can provide.

Indoors: Stunning, fully-equipped gourmet kitchen features slab granite counters with travertine backsplash, stainless steel appliances, gas range, oven with convection, microwave and refrigerator with ice maker. The beautiful formal dining room has seating for 8 with french doors to let in light and access to the peaceful side patio. The kitchen bar has seating for 3. Great Room amenities include a large gas fireplace, comfortable sectional seating, bright pool views, 50? HDTV, DVD, Playstation & Rockband. The large, step down wet bar has a sink, bar supplies, wine refrigerator, tons of counter space and seating for 3.  

Bedroom Descriptions: The luxurious upstairs Master Suite is absolute heaven. It is massive and features travertine floors, ceiling fans, a King-size bed and glorious views of the mountains. The sitting area has a loveseat, chairs & HDTV and flows into the bath. Get ready for a long luxurious soak in the classic claw-foot bathtub. Oversized custom tiled shower. Granite counters, travertine backsplash and dual vessel sinks. Spacious walk-in closet. 

Downstairs Master Suite 2 is also spacious with two queen beds, travertine floors, ceiling fans, HDTV, huge walk-in closet, comfy chair and lamp for reading and french doors to the side yard with old growth ficus trees. The en suite bath has an oversized tiled shower, soaking tub, granite counters, travertine backsplash and dual vessel sinks.

Bedroom #3 is upstairs and is also extremely large. It has two queen beds with high end carpeting, ceiling fans, chair and lamp for reading, mountain views & TV. Bedroom #4 is upstairs and has two XL Twin beds, ceiling fan and reach in closet. Bedroom #5 is downstairs and has a queen bed and ceiling fan. Other available beds: 2 deluxe Queen Aerobeds. Bed and Sleeping Summary: 1 King, 5 Queen, 2 XL Twin and 2 Queen Aerobeds. Sleeps 14-18. 

Other Amenities: Free high-speed wireless internet, fully-equipped laundry room with washer & dryer, ironing board & iron. Massive driveway with parking for 7. Side driveway has room for overflow parking and street parking is also allowed. Casa Santa Barbara is perfect for guests with allergies as there have never been animals in this vacation home.

Coachella & Other Events: The enormous, 1 acre side yard is fenced off from the main back yard and is currently unlandscaped. It can be used for extra parking and RV or boat parking. The entire acre is scheduled to be fully landscaped in the near future. However, even in it?s current state our event consultants can set it up for large events and if necessary it can be seeded for quick grass. Permits for events are available from the city of Palm Desert.

We had perfect weather and the accommodations were perfect. Our only difficulties were that the kitchen was very sparsely supplied. Considering the property is advertised for up to 18 guests there was very limited cookware, serving dishes and table settings. It was extremely difficult to prepare each meal. It was very secluded because the lot next door is empty. The indoor area is very nice for entertaining and the rooms are nice. The backyard and pool weren't very clean when we got there but the property management company came by to clean it the day we called. Loved the place is was beautiful. A guest from Glendale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 Found too many spider webs a really big one on top of the kitchen sink. Wanted to turn on the fireplace someone had left two socks in it. The area was ok just didn't know it was an empty lot next to us. The last day there was a really bad smell outside the whole house we stayed indoors which was disappointing since I paid for it. Other then that d house was beautiful.
