You don't have to leave the view behind when you move indoors. The sliding-glass doors occupy one whole wall of the living room, and the open-design plan makes the view accessible even from the kitchen. So when it's time for air conditioning and indoor fun, slip inside and sink down onto the comfy couch in our living room. There's a big flat-screen TV with cable dvr service and Blue Ray/ DVD player awaiting you here, not to mention plush armchairs and plenty of space for the kids to spread out their toys and projects.
The light color scheme and open plan combine to create an airy, beach-y feel that extends to the dining room. Here, beneath a modern chandelier, the whole group can enjoy a meal at the table, followed by a rousing round of 500 Rummy. The breakfast bar serves as the perfect buffet counter.
For less formal occasions, there's also a breakfast nook tucked away in the back of the kitchen, in a sun-soaked corner. This is a great area for children, away from the main action of the living area. It's also a nice retreat for those in the group who simply want to read or work a puzzle instead of joining in the group fun.
The kitchen is completely contemporary at Cinnamon Beach 831, with granite countertops, wooden cabinetry, and gleaming black appliances. We've stocked the cupboards with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you could wish, and the counters with time-saving appliances from a microwave and coffeemaker to a blender. If you're cooking at home this vacation, you'll feel as though you're on the set of a Food Network show; if you're eating out, you'll appreciate the availability of fridge and microwave for all those delicious leftovers!
There are 3 bedrooms at Cinnamon Beach 831, plus a sofa sleeper in the living room. The master suite is simply palatial, with a fluffy king-sized bed, HDTV with Blue Ray/DVD player, and ocean views. The en-suite bathroom beguiles with a big soaking tub and a walk-in shower. No matter how many miles you have logged on the golf course or beach that day, you'll feel rejuvenated after a good soak and a bubble bath!
The second bedroom is comfy as well, with a queen-sized bed, HDTV, and bath containing both a shower and tub option. And our third bedroom is ideal for kids, with 2 twins, a TV, and convenient access to the third full bathroom. Slightly Above Average A guest from groveland, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 The good points were the reservation specialists, the location and the pool/beach access. The bad points which kept us from truly enjoying our stay: We checked in at 3pm and the cleaning crew hadn't shown up. We waited in the unit next door for an hour while they cleaned. Also, the 2nd bedroom smelled like canned tuna. The maintenance staff sprayed one day promising to return the next day. They never did and we couldn't even sleep in the room due to the horrific smell. We were looking forward to renting a beach house next summer but aren't sure at this juncture based on the lack of response. We had a lovely time in this beautiful, clean condo. We woke every morning to an awesome sunrise and enjoyed the day at the beach and then at one of the two pools at the resort. We even managed to see a few dolphins and other wildlife. The condo has very comfy beds, bedding, towels, etc. Everything is up to date. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. We cooked at the condo most of the time. There is a grocery store just down the street. We did eat out a few nights. The property management company was very accommodating if we had any questions. We are hoping to return. Each time we have chosen a different unit and have never been disappointed. Unit 735 was excellent. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The cleaning crews have maintained everything in "tip top" condition. The only suggestions that I could make for this unit would be that the pantry door not be locked ( to store all the groceries in the kitchen cabinets was inconvenient for us). And, I would love to see the owners include a rocking chair. Our little one loves to be rocked. I would highly recommend this unit. It was almost too much space for the four of us that stayed there. It is a great place to stay for families. Very quiet and a great view of the ocean. The only downside was the natural reef along the beach. The only safe time to swim was near low tide which limited our time in the ocean. Most families utilized the pools but not being able to swim in the ocean whenever we wanted was a disapointment. It is a beautiful community and very secure. I would definitely recommend this place for a family vacation. 2009-Third Vacation at Cinnamon Beach Resort Judy T. from Moultrie, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 We had a wonderful time this year and the Condo was clean and spacious. I have 5 grandkids so I always look for a condo with 3 bedrooms and we also had a couch that pulled out into a bed, so we had plenty of beds. We like the location because it is more family oriented than some locations, it is quite and you hardly realize there is anyone else around. I love the kids pool area. The pool gradually goes down and if you have some kids that don't like the water to good then it is ideal. They also have a wonderful time in waterpark area. The only thing that we were disappointed about was that we could not take snacks or drinks to the pool area this year and the towels were not available and we were required to take a pass with us every day. Some times you just can't remember and if there is a person at the sign in table you have to go back and get it. I think as much as we have to pay for the Condo and all the extras for groceries it is to much to ask us to go and pay that high price for extra food. Other than that we had a wonderful time. You are half way between St. Augustine and Daytona and I just like the quite area. Also, there is a Publix that is not far from the Condo so that was real convenient. And also, we had everything that we would need in the kitchen. We brought a grill and waffle iron but everything is provided. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2009 I was a little hesitant to book a reservation online (photos can be very deceiving)but I was thrilled to find the my condo (735) and the Cinnamon Beach complex to be exactly as it was described. The condo was spacious and moderna and the view was excellent. The pools were fun and clean and everyone I ame in conract with was very helpful.The one little thing I did not like at first were the rocks on the shoreline, but after a day we figured out that they served a good purpose to create natural 'kiddie pools" and provided entertainment for my two year old in the form of tiny fish and crabs. Totally awesome condo - not so impressed with the pool cafes Joan C. from Lilburn, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 I was very impressed with the property and it was closer to the beach than the thought based on the pictures and descriptions. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cookware. It was nice to have a book with the local eateries, ect with notes from the owner. I was also impressed with the cleaning around the grounds.We decided to stay at a condo vs a house because the kids wanted the amenities. The downside to the amenities was they made it almost impossible to have refreshments at the pool. No outside beverages or food were allowed but the cafe did not accept cash or credit cards. You needed to set up an account/card but then we were informed there would be a 20% surcharge on top of the premium priced menu. I think the condo association needs to rethink this approach. The kids loved the lakeside pool and the kids play area. I have a 20 month old, 8 and 13 yr old so it offered a nice break from the waves. What a great week! Wendi J. from Ocala, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in May, 2008 This was our first vacation at Cinnamon Beach and we all agree that we will definitely be back! The condo was so nice and the pool and splash park were both great! Of course the private beach was nice as well! Our property manager gave us so much information that was so helpful and made our trip a true vacation, such as where to find groceries, good food, things to see in the area and contact info for all of them.
