With 3 large bedrooms, a state-of-the-art great room, and a lanai big enough for the whole party to enjoy the view of the lake, our new condo at Tidelands 1721 is simply a dream. Come stay in our corner of paradise and enjoy all the perks of resort living!
You may have trouble wanting to leave the lanai! We're on the second floor of our building, with a lovely view of the lake, and our huge lanai has a table and chairs, plus a chaise lounge, all cooled by a breezy ceiling fan. Have your breakfast out here and watch the early birds "fishing" in the lake; come out here after dinner and watch the sun set spectacularly beyond the old-growth oak and palmetto palm trees. That outdoorsy smell, balmy air, and beautiful vista are all highly addictive!
As much room as the lanai has for entertaining, the great room inside the condo is also spacious enough for the whole gang. Gather around our huge 32-inch HDTV to watch home movies or an exciting game. Once you sink into our ultra-comfortable couch, you'll feel that workaday stress just melting away! Relax. You're in Palm Coast, having the best vacation of your life!
Just past the TV area is our dining table, with elegant seating for up to 6 under a modern chandelier fixture. It's a pleasure to sit in this new, beautifully decorated spot and enjoy a meal together. The round table is also good for a big group game, so bring along the Taboo and the Uno and have at it!
Believe it or not, there is another dining space as well in this condo -- our sun-drenched breakfast nook, just beyond the kitchen. More private than the formal dining area, it's a great place to set up the laptop (you have free wireless Internet at Tidelands 1721) and get some serious emailing or Facebooking done. And there are even a couple of stools pulled up to the breakfast bar for impromptu meals and snacks!
With all this dining space, you may think we're encouraging you to cook in, and the kitchen would just confirm this. It's got brand-new appliances, from a huge refrigerator and freezer with water and ice in the door to a blender for whipping up those frosty beverages. Gleaming granite countertops make working in the kitchen a little more pleasant, and complete sets of cookware, dishes, and utensils mean that you can prepare and serve just about anything. But even if your goal is to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible this vacation, you'll appreciate knowing everything is at hand should the cooking mood strike!
When it's time to get some sleep, you'll be so glad you chose Tidelands 1721. Our bedrooms are all well-appointed and calming, designed with the sole purpose of getting you the best night's sleep. The master bedroom features a huge king-size bed, an HDTV for those late-night movie marathons, and a generous closet. A sunny room, its light yellow tones are very soothing -- responsible for many a late-morning lie-in!
The master bathroom is en suite, with his-and-her sinks and walk-in shower, and all the space you could ask for. Remember, all towel sets as well as linens, blankets, and pillows are provided at Tidelands 1721 -- no need to waste suitcase space with "emergency" bedding!
There is a split floor plan for privacy. The second bedroom with queen bed, painted a cool powder blue, is peaceful as well. It has a TV, as does the third bedroom, which contains 2 twin beds. The second bathroom, equipped with both a bathtub and a shower, is convenient to both bedrooms.
If your party contains 7 or 8 people, the couch in the great room unfolds into a queen-size sleeper. The best thing about this bed is its location -- leave the drapes open and you'll have a spectacular view of the sunrise!
You will love life at Tidelands, with the Intracoastal Waterway just yards away, lakes and lagoons and canals running throughout the grounds, miles of trails, and all the amenities of a first-class resort. Just 3 miles from the beach, we're also convenient to the European Village and to many fine golf courses, including Ginn Hammock. For lovers of nature,

Excellent Condo Located at 1721 Tidelands A guest from Grand Rapids, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 26 days in March, 2011 This was the 3rd year that we have stayed in this condo. We very likely will do so again next year. The condo is well decorated and the furnishings are very nice. The staff at Vacation Rental Pros does an excellent job in setting up, scheduling & following through with the rental. Vacation rental Pros' maintenance man is easy to contact and is very good at addressing any maintenance issues that arise. As the name implies, Vacation Rental Pros is a very professional organization that serves their clients well.In terms of the condo itself, there are 3 issues that we recommend be addressed for future rentals. These are: a. The windows need to be washed b. The bath and hand towels are starting to wear and should be replaced c. A new coffee pot is needed as the bottom of the existing one is in bad condition. Otherwise, everything else in the condo was in good shape. February 2011 in Tidelands, Palm Coast FL A guest from Falls Church, VA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2011 Our unit was lovely. Well furnished with many extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Extra hooks, extra utensils etc. However, we were surprised to find no hotel cart to bring our luggage or groceries to the unit. At 75 years of age , it was a major inconvenience to drag our luggage and boxes to the elevator. The same for grocery bags from Publix.Many units were deserted and the neighborhood was sparsely populated. We would not return to Tidelands. We much prefer the Cinnamon Beach Community. Tidelands is real nice and quiet. Condo was very nice. Tim S. from Elkins, WV recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2010 Had a great time. Condo was clean and well furnished. My only complaints would be that the hot water runs out real fast and there is no extra lock(chain,cam,etc) on the entry door...anyone with the code could come right in. Other than that we loved it and plan on returning. Erica,Jessica and Chris in the reservation dept. were great in helping us book our room and Mike was great in getting us the right codes for the property gate upon arrival. Our codes were from the previous month but he was right on top of it after calling him...even at 9:00 PM and even texted me new codes for the pool/fitness center later that evening...thanks Mike! Good Stay, a little different from last year though. A guest from White Plains, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2009 One area of importance is the mold that was present in the shower upon our arrival (master bedroom). Second, as experienced last year as well, there is never enough hot water for the guests. Almost every one of us had to take atleast 1 cold shower even when we split our showers so that half the guest took showers in the morning and the other half at night. Lastly, the code for the garage should be included in the PDF that is sent with all other condo information. Overall the stay was very pleasant and our guests were well pleased. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2009 We (2 couples) just spent a month in a 3 bdr., 2 bth. condo in Tidelands, Palm Coast. The condo was top quality, spotless and conveniently located. The pool and gym facilities were great and the uncrowded beach just a 5 minute drive away. One slight plumbing problem was seen to promptly by the maintenance person. Only complaint, and it's a mild one, is that the bed in the second bedroom that was supposed to be a queen turned out to be a double although we had checked before booking to be sure it was a queen. Our little problems: the beds are too soft/fluffy, a scale to level out our suitcases to meet the airlines maximum of 50 pounds was missing and the hot water was stinking like rotten eggs when we arrived (attn.owner: never shut off the heater in the water-tank, even if no one is there!!!) and the balkony is hard to clean because it is fully screened and a drain is missing. Clean room. A guest from Alexandria, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2008 Very clean unit. Pool area was beautiful. St. Augustine is a nice area, and close enough to Kennedy Space Center and other sights as well for a day trip. Very quiet and out of the way place. Didn't see too many other people.
