Love Ocean Hammock at Cinnamon Beach A guest from Napan, NB recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 This is our 3rd time at Ocean Hammock. We love the area and Condo's, pool areas etc. We found a few things that need to be addressed concerning this particular unit. (Our 1st time in this unit.) Before going, we did read that the sheets in this unit were very pilly. The owner should supply better sheets. We had to use another flat sheet in the closet over the fitted sheet so we didn't feel like we were sleeping with sand in the bed. Mattresses were so so. The dryer would not shut off when you opened the door. This could cause a problem if it was left running and failed to shut off when the cycle is done. The kitchen is equiped with lots of pots for large crowds. A beautiful large bathroom and nicely decorated rooms. All in all a lovely home away from home. 1054 Cinnamon Beach Bob C. from Naples, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 61 days in July, 2012 The unit was OK except it was dirty. The carpet was stained in the master bedroom, which was cleaned after we called. The bedding was very tired.The biggest complaint we had is that on several weekends there was a wild party in unit 1064. On the weekend of the 14th-16th of September, it was very loud. After 10:00PM they carried on and my wife called security. The security people arrived and were told the party was"going out" and security left. The party continued. She called again and nothing was done. The party continued until 5:18AM. I was away and my wife was afraid to call the police for fear of the louts. We only had the one in the can. 2)There was no jacuzzi. 3)My family members staying in another building's condos had warning signs posted in their only elevator that repairs would be done during their stay which was in June ( instead of off season).4) This was the worst thing: the stern looking gentleman at the Cinnamon beach grill was rude to myself and a friend when we accidentally came in there with water drinks in our hands. The only reason I took my friend in there was to brag about how nice the restaurant was only to be treated rudely by this man. Told part not necessary but dishes came out spotted and still dirty. Our l month stay Duane & Linda K. from Appleton, WI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2012 Palm Coast and this development are both in excellent condtion and well taken care of. Our unit had old linens. King size bottom sheet fit but the upper sheet was for a queen size bed. Love seat and sofa were old and uncomfortable. Had to stuff pillows behind your back to sit comfortably.The TV sets were old (guess 15 years) and should have been HD SETS for the price of the unit. Kitchen pans had to be cleaned by us and the utensils were a mismatch of things. Loved the facilities and would rent there again,, but notthis unit. NICE CONDO BUT, NO ATTENTION TO DETAILS!! Isabelle G. from Bethesda, Maryland does not recommend this property. Stayed for 21 days in December, 2011 The condos at CB are very nice and comfortable, however, the difference between having a great experience or, a lousy one is in the "details".Unfortunately, the owner in this unit has the "cheapest and lowest" quality linens you could find, specially the towels,these were more floor rags than towels, some of the furniture has not been cleaned or, replaced since the condo was purchased, lastly, the kitchen utensils were cheap with only one "non-stick" pan old and scratched.Summary, the experience was like staying in a Marriott Suites but, with "MOTEL 6" accessories! Family Vacation - kids, grandkids, et al Lucinda M. from Ontario, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2009 We rented the condo because my daughter was delivering her son to college in Daytona Beach. We made this trip a family vacation for 6 while we were helping my grandson get settled at college. The time in between settling him into his dorm was filled with fun times swimming at the pool and enjoying the wave action of the ocean. The condo afforded us the chance and the space to seperate or get together. There was plenty of room in the condo, and it was quiet and peaceful in the evenings, so taht we could rest between the trips to Daytona Beach. We enjoyed having the convenience of shopping nearby, and the staff was all very nice at the condos. The only change I would have made would be to add a place to grill outside for dinners. Since it was summer, grilling would have been a nice option to cooking indoors or dining out. We plan to go back next yesr, and I felt it was a value priced stay. The amenities of the condo were just what we wanted for the occasion. REALLY LIKED THE FAMILY POOL WISH IT WAS A LITTLE CLOSER NOT REALLY THAT FAR BUT WE HAD TWO SMALL CHILDREN 2 AND 3 YEARS OLD. LOTS OF RULES AT THE POOL. NO SMOKING NO DRINKING AND SOMEONE WORKING THERE TOLD SOME OTHER SMALL KIDS THEY COULDN'T THROW THE BALL BACK AND FORTH A LITTLE EXTREME SINCE THE POOL WAS NEARLY EMPTY. LOVED THE FACT THEY PROVIDED TOWELS. GOOD SECURITY. ONE OF THE THINGS I LIKED BEST WAS THE CODES FOR THE DOOR. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO CHECK IN AT THE RENTAL AGENCY TO PICK UP KEYS AND EVERYBODY COULD GET IN AND OUT WITHOUT WAITING FOR EACH OTHER. LOVED THE PIZZA PLACE AT THE VILLAGE GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE.
