You knew your vacation would make you feel on top of the world, but who would have thought it would be literally true? From our penthouse condo at Cinnamon Beach 964, you can survey miles of beautiful scenery, including lakes and greenery. What heaven!
Designed for a good-sized group, our 6th-storey condo in an elevator building overlooking a pure blue lake is the perfect place for up to 10 people to stay. It boasts all the comforts of home, with none of the crowding and corner-cutting of hotel rooms. From the moment you walk in, you know this is a place you'll love. Before you leave, you'll already be making plans to return!
Let's start with the balcony, everybody's favorite part of Cinnamon Beach 964. It offers views from 2 sides, and is covered so that there's always a bit of shade. The air is balmy here, tinged with that ocean salt, and you can hear the murmur of the surf. The Atlantic Ocean is less than a 5-minute walk -- just follow the sea birds that wheel in over the lake each morning!
There is casual seating on the balcony, including a table for 6 and a chair or two in quiet corners. When you're in a large group, downtime is essential, and we have created places where you can retire with a book, glass of wine, or earbuds for an hour and two and recharge your batteries in a beautiful setting!
But quiet time and panoramic views of natural beauty aren't for everyone, which is why the living room at Cinnamon Beach 964 is fully equipped with electronics and super-comfortable seating in which to enjoy them. Our HDTV, VCR, and DVD player are at your disposal in the large entertainment center. Flop down on the couches and settle in for an evening at home!
If you need more space for family night in, our dining table is adjacent to the living area, and seldom gets used for meals. (The balcony usually steals that honor!) Break out the Settlers of Catan for the grown-ups, Sorry! for the ankle-biters, and put on your favorite CD. The kids will be delighted, especially since the free wireless Internet at Cinnamon Beach 964 means that they can text their buddies and constantly update their status on Facebook. Their parents and grandparents might appreciate the opportunity to check directions and opening hours online, too!
And who is going to feed this hungry mob? Well, probably many of the fine area restaurants offering fresh-caught seafood and other delicacies, if not the little café 2 minutes away by (bare) foot in the clubhouse of the Cinnamon Beach complex. But just in case you feel the urge to prepare a home-cooked feast, you'll find everything you need in our kitchen -- cookware, utensils, dishes, and all manner of gadgets. With its granite countertops, tiled floor, and wooden cabinets flanking the new appliances, this is a space in which you might actually enjoy cooking . . . Or not! That's what the microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster are for. Pop something into them first thing in the morning to get everyone moving, then off to finer things!
Of course, getting out the door in the morning means you have to leave your bedroom, which no one will want to do at Cinnamon Beach 964. We've done our best to outfit the master and second bedroom with luxury and the third (kids') bedroom with fun, including TVs and DVD players in all 3 bedrooms. And if your group overflows the bounds of the bedrooms, no problem. One of the living room sofas converts to a bed for 2!
The master bedroom boasts a new king-size bed, HDTV with DVD player, sliding-glass door access to the balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi-style soaking tub and walk-in tiled shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the kids' room has a cheerful clubhouse atmosphere and 2 sets of bunkbeds. A second full bathroom offers both a tub and shower.

A minor set back with having that many, was there is only 2 bathrooms which made it a tad difficult w/ all those kids, but we would definitely stay again. My daughter is confined to a wheelchair and we had to wait for over an hour and a half until the property was ready. We were told by the housecleaner that someone was supposed to notify us about the one ever called. Otherwise we would have left our home later. Apparently previous guests made a real mess so it was taking longer to clean. Things like dish holder in bottom of sink was dirty and coffee grinds in coffeemaker. Also shower curtain liner in first bathroom was very moldy. We had to call up houskeeping to have them bring a new one. Also, elevator needs airconditioner. You can barely breathe in there. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2009 The beach itself, while beautiful, is somewhat dissapointing due to a coquina formation that was forms eons ago. It makes boogie boarding, body surfing and wading in the surf very difficult (however, there are some breaks in the formation). There is a beautiful beach about 5 miles north on A1A Matanzza. Palm Coast provided the atmosphere and setting for a beautiful vacation, and the drive to visit family in vacation was not far at all. The beach, pool, grocery access was perfect. The condo,unit 964, was beautiful inside and out. We will definitely come again. Our stay at cinnamon Beach- Overall a great stay a few problems or disappointments. Sherry M. from Leesburg, FL recommends this property. Also we were disappointed in the restaurant on the property. It could be upgraded also as we had children along we were disappointed that the water slide and play area wasn't working.Overall we would return for a visit. I am from Indiana and we were a little dissapointed with the beach. Not recommended for a top 10 Florida beach. The family pool was great, even with small children. It was safe and accessible for the parents to enjoy too. We would probably stay at another location for another spring break. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2008 I would like to say that we were very disappointed with the way we and other guests were treated in the pool area. We were told dont get drinks near the pool, get off of the kid zone water feature (helping our kids get up and down not playing on it), and tons of other nit picky stuff. However, on our last night there apparently an owners son decided he and about 15 of his friends would come in the family pool and wrestle, throw each other around, slinging a waterlogged kids football all over the place, all while my 4 year old and my friends 3 year old were right next to them. Our kids could not play except in 1-2 feet of water for fear of getting pummled by one of these teenagers or hit with a ball. The pool guy said nothing and watched it all happen. When I asked him about it before we left, all he could say is he (the son) knows the rules and acknowledged that it was in fact the son of someone "important". Apparently he (the son) was operating under different rules than the ones we had to abide by. It was a total lack of respect and they should have been told so by the staff on duty. This occured at about 815pm on 8/29/08. I would like to know that this has been addressed if at all possible. I disagree that owners should have different privledges than guests as we still pay good money to stay at a place like this. Thanks for your time in reading this complaint . Although the weather was not fantastic, (Fay put a damper on our vacation) the accomodation was spectacular. Roomy, beautifully decorated, every amenity, a home away from home...but better. Steve Milo and his team are extremely attentive and quick to respond to any question or need. We will definitely be back.
