Very Top Notch Paul R. from Byron Center, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Cinnamon beach unit 651 was very big and very nice. We had 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 11 and didn't feel "cramped" for space at all. Location is nice, great view of ocean, and short walk to both beach and pools. Read lots of reviews about the type of sand there and the rocks along the beach. There are quite a few rocks along the oceans edge and depending on high or low tide you do have to be aware of where they are at if you plan to be in the ocean swimming, etc....wasn't a big deal at all though, same w the sand. It's kind of a mix of seashells and sand, very neat color and fine to walk bare feet in. Biggest/ONLY COMPLAINT was that you can't grill out anywhere on the property. Cinnamon Beach Fowler Family Christmas Vacation! A guest from Cambridge, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 We were all so very happy with our Cinnamon Beach Vacation!! The condo was big, clean and beautiful with a beach theme that immediately set the mood for our special family vacation. The huge covered balcony had the most incredible ocean views - truly stunning. The grounds were immaculate and our two pupps were so happy too. We took advantage of both pools, hot tubs, games rooms and exercise room. We really felt like this was our home - quiet, relaxing and everyone was so friendly and 'chill'. Grocery store was only a short drive away and our kitchen was so well stocked that we had all the tools we needed to make delicious meals. We really miss the sounds of the ocean - nothing beats having an oceanfront vacation home. Also for all you families who are on a budget like we were, what we paid for 8 people and 2 dogs to be oceanfront at such a beautiful, safe resort was excellent! Throw Pillows on couch had some rips and coverlet (throw) on couch was ready for the trash. We were dissatisfied with the lighting in the bedrooms. Lights in first guest bedroom were 60 watts. hard to see when coming in at night. No wall switches in any of the bedrooms to turn on lights/lamps. Nor are there any overhead lights in bedrooms. Otherwise our stay was great. All the Mattresses were in great shape and very clean. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 We usually stay in one of the condos on the resort side, and this was our first stay on the oceanfront. We will always stay on the ocean front from now on! The condo was lovely, and we LOVED the furniture on the balcony. We spent many hours out there enjoying the ocean breeze and great views. Overall the condo is perfect, and beautifully decorated.The suggestions and things we would liked to see changed: The kitchen is not very well stocked with some things that are imporatant. There was not very many everyday drinking glasses, and the few that are there are heavy and not great for kids or to grab some juice. They are large/heavy. Having a set of medium everyday glasses would be nice. You cna pick them up at Walmart or Target...meanwhile the guests have to drink out of solo cups a lot. The kitchen needs some baking/cookie sheets. Not one there. Hard to make pizzas/frozen foods without one. And there should be a normal can opener, for those of us who do not like the electric one, that works when it wants. For the bedrooms, it would be nice to have mattress covers that were not plastic. For a high end unit, this is not very comfortable or classy.We loved our stay! We will see you next year! However when arriving the elevator was broken and we had to carry all luggage up 5 floors ourselves, including kids and friend of other family renting with us that has a bad hip needing replaced, not good. Now the one very small cleaning lady helped best she could. We heard S. Milo had workers there to help all renters coming in, however not us. Also the condo was not clean, bedding (covers) all showers, dirty kitchen floor as well as bathroom floors. Also start up toilet paper, paper towels, etc were not initially left as noted. Now they did leave them the 2nd day after I called with complaints of the dirty areas of the condo, of course after we made a quick run to the store to get the supplies as needed right away. I believe the owner needs to replenish the dishes as a lot of them were cracked and chipped. Especially the large plates and coffee cups. Also, the dish cloths had holes in them. They need to upgrade the mattress pads, sleeping on a plastic bag was not very comfortable with so many options available today for sanitary reasons. I believe also, the heating/air filters need to be changed as there was a lot of black dust on the ceilings. All in all we had a wonderful stay at this beutiful condo. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2011 A disappointment from last year stay's - Unit was not clean upon check in - water bottle w/cigarette butts & a used pantyliner in closet - ac frozen up - toilet in master bath disgusting - hair extensions falling out of couch and filth underneath couch. I will say the response time was excellent and by Tuesday everything was clean. Overall the stay at CB was great with no traffic on beach for the little ones and the water zone for the bigger kids everyone had a great time. The unit was large enough to accommodate the whole family without feeling like you were on top of each other - the large balcony was nice for early morning coffee and children to play on. 1st time visitors to Palm Coast A guest from West Palm Beach, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 The resort was great,our kids loved the pool area. Condo had everything we needed, even a pack and play and highchair! The only downside was that the footwash coming from the beach was not working all week so there was no way to rinse your feet of sand. Family vacation 6/11-6/18 Shirley J. from Booneville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 The condo was large enough for our group. It was well stocked, very clean and has an amazing view. The balcony furniture was flimsy and needs to be replaced also the patio doors veer very hard to open and shut. My niece actually ended up ripping her toenail completely off trying to open it, she didn't get to enjoy the rest of her vacation at all because of the incident. When we got to the gate to church in we had to Waite in line over an hour to get to the gate and then once we got to the gate the attendant told me that my access was denied. This was very humiliating for me, since I had book the condo over three months in advance and we drove over thirteen hours to get there.I along with the rest of my family were upset . I had to get on the phone multiple times in order to get the issue finally resolved myself . I didn't appreciate the way the gate attendant simply had me to pull over to the side and failed to give me a reolve on the issue. The patio doors need locks that work and new balcony furniture. We enjoyed the beach and loved that daytona and St. Augustine was easy to find and easy to travel too. The beach wasn't crowded and the pools were awesome just a bit far to walk to from our location. It is a beautiful location nice overall place to vacation. I think the only thing is that you can not open the back bedroom window so it got a little stuffy back there since we were not running the a/c. It is probably for safety but you should be able to open it a little ways. Also the light in that bedroom was not on a switch. Porch furniture was varied but a little flimsy for larger people. We did the required clean up and then some but still feel like when you are charged $150 cleaning fee you should not be asked to do laundry, vacuum, or take out the garbage. Another great year at Cinnamon Beach Alison H. from West Chester, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 This was our second year at Cinnamon Beach. We stayed in a different unit last year and MUCH preferred this one. The photos online just don't do this unit justice! It's huge! What a view! Perfect for a large group! It was clean, beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well appointed for a few meals in. (Let me tell you that we are quite a particular bunch when it comes to accommodations! We couldn't have been more pleased.)We had some elevator problems during the first few days but were contacted right away by Steve and the maintenance man. It made for a very good workout getting 2 car loads up to the 5th floor! Everything can't be perfect, right? It was fixed on our second day and ran smoothly the remainder of our trip.For those of you considering a family vacation here, go for it! If you are concerned about the rocks in the ocean, go to the walkway between buildings 700 and 800 and head to the right where the beach is much less rocky! Our kids (ages 5 & 9) were in the water all week. It helps to get a view of the beach early in the morning when most of the rocks are easily seen and plan your beach spot for the day. We watched the dolphins everyday and even had a few days at the beginning of our stay when the water was crystal clear well beyond the sandbar. Dolphins were swimming so close to us! Amazing!As a housekeeping issue (the only one that we could suggest for improvement) the ceiling fans were in need of a good dusting. Sorta made me feel more at home. =DAnother wonderful year at Cinnamon Beach! We met some fun people, played for days in the ocean, ate at the Grille (great lunch and service on site! We just loved seeing Carole and she remembered us from last year!) shopped and relaxed!For the money, you can't beat these condos anywhere! With all the vacations we have taken in the past; I enjoyed not having to worry about room keys if we separated. Also please be aware to keep the kids off the natural rocks, I promise they will get hurt on them. Our only disappointments were they did not have a grilling area for families to grill food at. Also it would have been nice to have more than one vehicle under the deck when the units were not completely full. Need a few changes - Not our best experience John W. from Lake Barrington, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 70 days in January, 2010 This was our 4th year at Cinnamon Beach. Steve Milo, Frank and Crystal are always responsive and accomodating. However after paying a premium price for our premium unit this year we were disappointed in a few things. The unit does have a great location and a premium view but did not have a premium feel and look inside. This pet friendly unit had a hall carpet runner that was filthy with very visible dog spots. (This is one reason we didn't stay in 545 again.) The lighting was terrible in all rooms with very low wattage bulbs (mostly 50W) with no good reading lights in the living room. Our unit had very worn towels. Crystal brought new ones but when first used the dye came out and got all over. The TVs in bedrooms 2 + 3 were very small and there were no video recorders (only players) in any room for any TV. The Brighthouse box along with the TV control was difficult at best to decipher the operation to get the TV on initially and no instructions on the TV or in the guest book. A previous dog had chewed on our Brighthouse control. The luggage cart was missing from the building for most of our 10 week stay so when bringing in groceries etc we had to hunt one out from another building. After reporting this to the pool office manager we were told the the home owners association manager was in charge of carts and that individual was not readily available but had been informed. These buildings should have at least two carts. The elevator had gotten stuck and required service so we had to walk up to the 5th fl a few times. There are way to many large dogs being brought to Cinnamon Beach with the dog owners being very discourteous with letting their pets run wild and charge at people on the beach. (One couple had 4 large dogs attcking people). People should be required to use leashes as is the law for most public places in Flagler Co. Beautiful Condo #651 - Cinnamon Beach Rebecca T. from Jacksonville, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2009 We just returned from our week's vacation at Cinnamon Beach. Everyone had a wonderful time and we all agreed it was the nicest place we have ever stayed. We were amazed at how beautifully decorated the condo was throughout and everything was very clean. Our family from out of town came too and there was plenty of room for everyone. Every morning we sat on the huge private balcony and enjoyed the gentle breeze and beautiful sunrise (God is so good!). My husband took his afternoon naps out on the balcony too. We cooked most of our meals in the condo but we did go out to two of our favorite restaurants (O'Stean's and Barnacle Bills both in St Augustine). This condo had everything we needed and much more (even a high chair and pack n play). We missed having an outdoor grill. We were also disappointed with all the large rocks in the water along the shore; made it too dangerous for us to go in the ocean. The two pools on the property made up for it though. Our 18 month old granddaughter had a great time in the family pool with the "zero" slope entrance and everyone enjoyed the water splash zone. We had a fabulous time and would love to come back again. However, I feel we should have been told BEFORE we decided on that particular condo that our 3 small boys, ages 2,5 and 6 would need to wear socks on the tile at all times and be very quiet so not to distube the owners below. We left a day early because we just weren't able to maintain the level of quiet that was 80yr old mother also was not able to wear only socks in fear of falling. I could tell there are times when little ones use the condo as there was a high chair, port-a-crib and water floats available. Our two y/o grandson was constantly reaching for the many breakable doo-dads within his reach. Of course we remedied this by putting things away, but putting them all back was one more thing we needed to take care of during packing up to leave. The condo is pretty on its own. Our family rented 5 condos in all and this one was our favorite. We appreciated it's spacious and comfortable atmosphere very much. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2008 this unit was very comfy, even with our crew of 8 (4 kids, 4 adults). the family pool was were we spent most our time! the beach is nice, private and beautiful - however it's "rustic" in that you really can't swim or even play much from the shore. there is a ton of beautiful/dangerous rocks just below the waters edge that you can only see durring lower tides. however just a few miles north there are miles of swimable "public" beach access. not that you want to drive to the beach, when you can see it from your condo, but the pool is fantastic - so we just did our swimming there!
