Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Unit 1052 was everything our previous condo wasn't: it was spacious, uncluttered and well furnished. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The king-size bed in one of the three bedrooms was very comfortable.The large terrace overlooked one of the many small lakes where we watched the wildlife, including the pelicans diving for fish. The addition of two lounge chairs in this area would have made it perfect for late afternoon relaxing. Awesome winter getaway Marilyn T. from Elizabeth Town, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in December, 2012 The condo was everything as advertised, very spacious and clean. The community was modern and safe. The beach was great and easily accessible. There was a problem with the microwave in the condo, which the owner directed maintanence to replace immediately. Thankyou! Unfortunately, the community cafe and grill at the pools were shut down for the month of January. This should be noted in the rentals for this area. All in all, we had a great vacation and will return. This is a very pet friendly community, and although this particular unit does not allow pets, many others do. We will look at returning next year with our dog. Thanks again to the owners...your condo is beautiful. We look forward to many more stays at Cinnamon Beach. pricey stay of dissapoint A guest from mayo, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 Upon arrival the unit floor was wet I'm hoping from steam cleaning. Pull out couch full of dirt and had toys in it as well as popcorn from some previous renter. When houskeeping followed up they did not apologize just stated they were aware of the problem and this rarely happens. Nice... The property staff very nice. Pools were amazing. There was a toll to go to the store each time we left 2.00 and ten minute drive to go to store which was inconvienent. The beach current was so bad we could not get in and had to be very cautious with our children. Overall experience of location convienence beach I give a 2 out of 5. I was very dissapointed and ready for Ormond or Daytona beach when I left. Unfortanetly our money was spent on the pricey stay of dissapoint. No complaints, great stay A guest from High Springs, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 The condo and property were exactly as pictured on the website: new and clean. Beds and other furniture were comfortable. Facilities were fantastic. Wifi in the room was sometimes spotty and would have preferred flat screen TVs in the bedrooms (TVs were the old style and were fairly small) - but those are small things given we really didn't spend a lot of time on the internet or watching much tv. Really enjoyed the complimentary beach furniture/umbrellas (beach front next to the "quiet pool"). Also enjoyed the grill restaraunt next to the "play area pool". Food was decent and reasonably priced, although service could be slow. Pools and hot tubs were great - chlorine wasn't bad. Easy check in and check out, management company was great about emailing documents. The elevator broke right when it was time to check out and our departure was very difficult. We had to carry luggage and grocery and bags and etc down 5 flight of stairs. Up and down we went. We did call but there was noone on duty bcuz of the holiday. This will make us look to stay somewhere that has 24hr maintenance. The sink leaked in the kitchen in unit 1052. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2010 We very much enjoyed our stay, other than the weather, which turned cold and windy on us, that made it even better that we had a nice place to stay. Security personal at the enterance gate were very friendly and helpful, making our stay that much more pleasant. Because of the cold weather we didn't make it to find the game room or hot tub, or even down on the beach. But despite the weather we had a wonderful stay and would do it again. Constructive Suggestions taking into account that this is a rental property A guest from Fargo, ND recommends this property. Stayed for 59 days in January, 2010 1. Since last year, the telephone system was changed to cable. this means that in a unit that has 4 phones, only one works, and it is very inconveniently located. A new system with three wireless satellite phones is needed.2.the unit was very clean when we arrived, but the carpets and chairs are starting to show their wear; which is not surprising since this is a rental unit.3 there must be a different window blind system that can be used that is more hard wearing. the blinds were a problem last year and were only slightly better this year. Perhaps a model with string pulls would last longer than what is currently in use. The master bedroom blind was in especially poor shape and had not changed since the prior year when I commented on it.Thanks for the follow-up. We were told they were on order but after 2 months I would have expected them to have arrived. I would try a different supplier if the current one can't be more timely. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2008 The community was very scattered, the pools were both located together instead of one pool at one end of the community so people would not have to walk. golf carts are not allowed. The pools closed very early,between 7 and 8 o'clock. chairs and umbrellas were scarce,8 umbrellas and about 20 chairs for all guests. Also please tell customers before hand about the toll bridge. The pool hours on the Lake Side pool are 9 pm and I am meeting with the condo board to try to get this extended to 10 pm. The chairs and umbrellas on the beach are a courtesy issue - and first come first serve. The toll bridge is a one way toll only and we do reference it in our information pack. A Wonderful Family Vacation Jennifer E. from Windemere, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2008 This was our first family trip since having kids and it was wonderful! The property was very clean. The kitchen was well equipt and the views, while not on the ocean were pretty. The kids had plenty of space to play and the grownups had plenty of room to visit. The beach is a very short walk away - even for little legs; and the pool is just a little further. We loved the zero entry on the family pool. During low tide, small fish would get caught in the rocks along the beach shore and the kids LOVED watching them! Oh, and there was also undercover parking which kept our cars cleaner. Overall we had a great time and are planning a return next summer with my family again and a return in the fall with my husband's family! Beautiful complex A guest from Woodstock, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2008 Cinnamon Beach is a beautiful complex. However, there are no stores close by to even buy some coffee. The game room closed too early. After a day of sightseeing, our teens wanted to use the game room but it was closed at 7pm. The real draw back was the far out location. If we had known that, we would have brought more food with us. Also thought the upfront security deposit and the activities fee were over an over charge. If something had been damaged then we should pay for it not pay for damage that never occured. The activities fee should not have been charged. The activities are a part of the complex.
